I'm slightly unnerved by how calmly Ellios took care of that. How fast he moved and how that man didn't even seem to notice him. He is dangerous. I follow behind him, still cautious.
"That was fast." I say quietly, stepping around a rock that would have tripped me had I not been paying attention, "Why didn't you dispatch him? Do you just expect him to bleed out?" I lift my mask to the top of my head so I can see better.

"Hm." I nod deciding to not question it further, "Thank you for your help, Ellios. Maybe one day I can return the favor." I take my mask off of my hand and hang it at my hip, taking off my hood along with it. I wave goodbye to Ellios, smiling. Walking forward, I decide to visit the markets. I look around at the colorful stands, inspecting wares.
(dunno how we gonna get them adventuring again. You got a plan?)

(Timeskip to late that night, I'm going to assume Mei is in a hotel or inn of some sorts. Ellios breaks in to steal things, or maybe to find a place to sleep.)
I gently open the window to the second floor of the inn, where I had climbed up to moments ago. I slip in without making a sound. I look about the hallway that I've entered. I see some lights on in rooms, but no major noise. I begin creeping down the hallway heading to the front desk where they'll keep the gold.

I sit alone at one of the tables. I have been served some apple cider -I'm not much of an alcohol type- which sits on the table in front of me. My pack sits upstairs in my room, along with my bow. I still have my mask, pouch of coins, and shortsword, all of which are on my belt. I rest my elbow on the table, propping up my head on my hand and watching the bubbles in my drink.
There are only a few customers left, most of them drunk. I couldn't sleep so I came down here. I guess it had something to do with Ellios, unsettling yet fascinating.

(Cut my hair recently (it was really long) I like it but now it is the perfect length to just... be in my mouth all the time. Very unruly.)

I groan as I see the restaurant part of the inn still has some residents. Time for plan B. That plan's been working better for me all day anyway.
I hop up onto an empty nearby table, being the only one full weaponed and sober, so I stick out like a sore thumb. I swipe my hood off my head, but I leave my mouth covered. I slip my knives off my thighs, holding them at a defensive position in front of me. I hear the murmurs run through the bar.
"Is that Ellios?"
"I think it's him."
"Is anyone going to do something?"
"He's gonna kill us all!"
"SILENCE!" I yell. the tavern falls into an eerie quiet. "Nobody will get hurt as long as nobody fights back. Give me your gold." I say in a demanding voice, a malicious grin on my face.

I snap to attention as if I had been asleep, raising my head to find Ellios on a table demanding money. I thought that was the last I would see of him. Apparently not.
My hand deftly reaches toward the hilt of my sword but I stop myself, reaching for the small pouch of coins hanging at my belt instead. My icey eyes search his, looking for something other than malice. Something I can work with and disarm.
Good thing I left my stuff in my room, I think, placing my pouch of coins on the table. My self preservation has kicked in. I'm not breaking any laws by pretending to be just as helpless as them. I'm anything but selfless.

I grin as I'm tossed a few bags of coins. I pick them up and attach them to my belt. I notice Meiynor from earlier today holding a bag of coins. I take an extravagant bow and pick up an empty stein from the table I'm standing on.
"Thank you, good people," I say, and then I turn and toss the mug as hard as I can, shattering a window. "And now, I leave!" I slip out the shattered frame. As I go, I turn and wink at Meiynor. I can leave him with his gold, there's no harm in that. Now, he owes me doubly, once for helping him find his way, and twice for leaving him his gold.

Well, f*ck, I think, incredibly confused. Why did he leave me my coins?
I'm far too tired to process the thought, but much too shaken to sleep. I finish off my cider and leave the mug on the table. Picking up my pouch and heading upstairs to my room. Once inside I lock the door, taking off my belt and hanging it on a hook near the door. I untie my hair, letting it fall around my shoulders as it unbraids itself in silky strands. I open my window and take a seat on my bed, looking out over the town.
(would be funny if Ellios just popped into his room like "hi there, now you owe me")
