Xenon mulled over Sani's words, nodding to himself for a moment before fetching his laser rifle from the wall. He figured there was a good chance that the assassin was targeting a high profile member of the resistance, but it'd take more than a single lone assassin to catch them off guard. He decided to follow Sani to the exit, keeping watch on the inside of the base, just in case.

She looked back to Xenon, thankful for his presence. While she walked, the thought of who was the target. Obviously it was someone who had a high rank, but who had angered them enough to push them to send their top assassin?

She was planning to attack Sani first since she was ahead but she knew that Xenons weapon would do the most damage first so she decided to attack Xenon first crouching down waiting for the right timing glancing over the edge

Sani's large ears twitched, listening for any sound. She could almost sense something was near, as she could hear breathing that was neither her's or Xenon's. She held her tail out in fear.

Her ear twitched and she leaped down from the bunker top and pounces on Xenon driving him into the ground locking her jaw onto his shoulder digging her claws into the ground

(Sorry for the delay)
Xenon immediately snapped to an alert, feeling the claws dig into his exoskeleton just past his armor as he was forced to the ground. He let out a clicking hiss of pain through his mandibles, trying to jam the nose of the rifle through Lilly's torso, between the ribs, to throw her off. His left forearm stingers had extended out at this point, but his pinned position made it impossible for him to use them for the moment.

She felt the rifle and reacted as fast as she could letting him go She has had scooted Her body off his rifle hurting her ribs a little before disappearing around the bunker ready to pounce again this time she wanted to get the rifle away from him she knew it would be tricky
