As Darius extends his hand, his sleve rides up his arm, exposing the end of a scar on the back of his arm.

Jade smiled, snatching his wrist, twisting his arm to get a better look. "Cool scar, where'd you get it?" , She asked, her eyes zeroing in on the patch of scarred skin. "Maybe you're not so soft, after all."

(He prob shouldn't say that, especially if his dad got killed because of his abilities. He should have an excuse. Because he doesn't know who Jade is, she might be a human and can get him killed for all he knows.)

He didn't explain more because it could expose that he was a lycanthrope.

"It's on the way to my work, I'll be fine." Schylur's mother reassures, making sure that Schylur has everything and was all set to have the most amazing school year ever, before packing everyone into her car. Schylur wasn't sure what they were feeling, but they guessed it was nervous, and maybe a little anxious. The drive wasn't that long, Schylur could have easily walked to school, and so Schylur's mother took a moment to give them a nice long pep talk.
"Te amo. I love you. You'll do great. Go have fun and don't forget to make a friend. Make me proud." Schylur's mother says, kissing Schylur on the forehead before shooing them out the door of the car. Schylur grins and waves as their mother pulls away.
"Te amo!" Schylur calls after their mother cheerfully before heading inside, dread filling them. They had to make their mother proud. And have fun. And make a friend. All on top of doing great. Schylur tries to put their unease at rest, but it kept popping back up. They look around for the office at the beginning before deciding to ask someone for directions. They prepare what they're going to say in their head before hand before tapping Molly lightly in the shoulder.
"Hola! I'm Schylur do you know where the front office is? I'm new and I wouldn't mind being pointed in the right direction." Schylur says before inwardly beating themself up, knowing that that sounded a lot worse out loud than what they had first thought.

Molly jumped when she was touched, she nearly recoiled - but instead she spun around with a surprised look on her face. She pushed up her glasses before she spoke. "Oh, hello, I'm Molly." , She blankly replied, shoving down the startled feeling. "And i have no idea where the front office is either." , She tried her hand at a laughed. But she just felt embarrassed for not knowing either.

"Nice to meet you Molly. It seems we're in the same boat. That might make the search harder, but then again, mas ven cuatro ojos que dos; two heads are better than one(literal translation is: four eyes see more than two). We can look together! I'm sure we'll come across it eventually." Schylur says with a friendly smile. They hesitate, not that great with social interactions and pretty sure that they were babbling on too much and had probably said something wrong. They tried not to let their fear show, but, like anything related to emotions or social skills, they're not that great.

Upon reaching school, Elliot hurried out of the bus. She bumped into a frazzled Eric but kept walking. Despite having been two weeks since school started, Elliot had just as much trouble finding her way around. She made several wrong turns before finally finding her locker where she started to sort through her things for the day.

Eric stumbled back in surprise as the girl pushed past him. He decided to make no comment about it. He simply laughed it off. He could hear his friends coming. They were shouting his name and he just laughed. As he turned to face them, he made sure his hair was properly tied back. After a short few minutes of talking, they began inside. He soon parted ways, not really having many classes with them, and started towards his first class.

Ashlee was first in her classroom. A huge smile was plastered on her face. She sat up front. She looked calm and happy but there was actually quite a lot going on in her head.
