Hi, I'm kind of a newby here. What is a cata? I've been all over the items market and I keep seeing forums saying they have catas on sale. And what do you do with them?

You can grow them in the Summer Festival Sculpting Garden. Once they are fully grown you get a pet egg from it which will turn into the pet. You can use additives to increase pet stats, pearls to increase number of visable traits, [Sea Pebbles] to add which mutations or genes you want (the more genes or mutations in the list that you choose such as 1 from the 16 qitari gene one traits, enriched sand to add hidden traits, and lastly blue or pink coating to preset gender. No problem just know that the catalysts you can select which number of gene you want like gene one gene two or gene three but which one you get is random.
