"Oh, I'm quite confident in my skills as a tour guide." Taylor said, tilting her head up to look at the clouds. Her eyes closed for a moment, so she could feel the sun on her skin. She couldn't imagine staying inside all day. That was why the field had always felt so welcoming. "Like I said, maybe you'll find out the outdoors aren't too bad."

After another minute of struggling, Izzy turned back to look at him. "Please," she called over. "I'll owe you."

He shrugged, kicking at the ground with his shoes. "I mean, I do have my motorcycle, and I don't think a corvette is really my style. Besides, can you imagine having to make sure that car stays in perfect condition?"

"Hmm. Maybe. How do you know this place so well, anyway? Do you come here often?" He asked, glancing back at his books

"Yeah, I know! I just wanna know what you're going to give me!" He called back, leaning against a tree, watching her with a very amused look on his face.

"True. Depending on the road you drove on, you might have to clean it pretty often."

My parents used to bring me out camping a lot, She explained. So I guess Im used to the woods. This specific campsite, though? My team and I stayed here a couple days once. Guessing you dont come out often?

She threw her hands up in mock surrender. I dont even know what you want!

Rylan modded. Speaking of- wanna head back to camp and see how much of a mess shes made already?

"No. I don't. In case you couldn't tell, I'm not very fond of the outdoors. For obvious reasons," he said, going back to his book.

"Well, me neither. So you better keep making offers." He said, not moving from his spot.

"Yeah, sure. Why not? Might make my day," he said, chuckling a little

"Suit yourself, but I'm still taking that maybe from earlier as a possible yes." Taylor replied with a playful wink, getting to her feet. As she brushed off her cutoff shorts, she turned to Victoria. 'What about you, Belle?" She still didn't know her actual name just yet. "Wanna join me? Before Princess over there-" She nodded in Izzy's general direction. "-throws a fit?"

Izzy thought for a moment, then reached into her pockets and pulled out her car keys. Her hands dangled them in the air. "What about a ride in the Corvette?" She knew how obsessed some people were with expensive cars.

"I'd usually settle for a good book right now, but Izzy's dramatics are pretty funny." He chuckled with Jack, then turned to head back to camp. "I'm Rylan, by the way. Just realized I didn't introduce myself."

Oliver rolled his eyes. Taylor could think whatever she wanted. Vicky only shrugged, only meeting her eyes for a split second before her eyes were back on the ground.

"Depends. Do I get to drive?" He asked, shoving away from the tree that he had been leaning on.

"Oh. It's Jack." He held a hand out to Rylan

"Wow." Taylor sighed, blue eyes glancing back up at the sky as she did a small spin. "I guess I should've expected that reply. But... I promise I won't let us get lost!"

Izzy rolled her eyes, but nodded. "Yup. As long as I get to sit in there with you. And you don't get to get us killed before your side of the bargain is fulfilled."

He shook his hand. "Nice to meet you."

Oliver proceeds to ignore her, Victoria just watching her.

"But...serious injuries don't count?" He asked, joking around

"Yeah, you too. Now let's go before she decides to just give up."

Taylor shrugged, and jogged back over to her tent to look for anything she might've needed to take on the walk. "You can join me if you'd like, then, but I'm heading off now!"

"Hilarious," Izzy replied, though a smile tugged at the corner of her lips. "Now, can I know your name? So I'm not handing over my car keys to a complete stranger?"

Rylan nodded, but as his gaze scanned the clearing, he was surprised to see his cousin actually conversing with... someone. He couldn't seem to recognize the boy, but was more confused with the fact that Izzy was no longer yelling. "Wow, guess she's calmed down a bit."

"Right now?" Oliver asked. "Why right now?"

"Ian. I'll take your name, too, even though I know for a fact that I already prefer half-pint," he replied, still smirking, although it had wavered for a second for unknown reasons. She had somehow hit a nerve.

"Well, that's no fun," he muttered. "I could've used a good laugh."
