Narri nodded and placed the payment on the table and smiled "thank you" she said and picked up the potion and gave her another smile before she turned around and quickly walked off before taking off in the sky and within a few minutes she stopped at a large waterfall and Narri flew through the water into a large cave inside was her hatching covered in rags curled up in a ball. Narri walked over placing the potion down and read the label

Nekonata watched the dragon fly off, hoping that her hatchling was ok. She checked the payment. The gold was half what the potion was worth. She looks in the box to find crickets. She smiles, thinking how did she know? She picks out one and eats it, saving the rest for later. She turns back and organizes her shelves after putting the gold in the lockbox under the desk.

On the potion is a hand-written note saying:

To whom it may concern,

This potion is meant to heal dragons with extreme injuries and ailments. This potion is very potent and not meant to be taken frequently. Do not take more than once in twenty-four hours. Do not give to creatures other than dragons. Effects on creatures other than dragons are un-tested. Should not be taken by hatchlings under one year of age.

Narri smiled luckily her hatching was over a year old and poured the right amount of medicine for a hatchling of his size and age and smiled "come here little one" she said as an adorable little pink Dragon slowly arose from where it was sleeping and slowly walked to the best of his ability to his mother and drank the medicen and muzzled into her side "mommy my body feels bad" he said and Narri muzzled him " you will get better soon and once you are I'll take you out you want to see the town didn't you" she said and he nodded and fell asleep. Narri had spoken to the elder dragon about medicine or potions that could cure her actually in and he informed her about Nekonata an said she often came to his shop to buy crickets and was a gifted at potions .

Nekonata finished sorting her wares and turned back to the desk. She watched the bustling crowd for a while before seeing a peculiar dragon pass by. He was a mottled blue-grey and he seemed to only have patches of scales.

She became uneasy. Was he infected? Just then his blue eyes locked on to her. She was almost frightened now. He comes up to her stand.

He says in a crazed voice, "I need one of your healing potions."

"F-for what illness?"

"The plague. I need it for the plague."

"There is no known cure-"

"I know you have something for it!''

Nekonata flinched, her bone markings appearing and not going away. He looked like he could practically jump over the desk and maul her. She spoke slowly. Carefully, "I'm sorry sir. There is no known cure for what you have. You might want to turn yourself into the guards. If they have you before you go mad they won't kill you."

But the dragon wasn't listening. He had his talons on his head and he was bent over in pain. All the color was drained from the remaining scales he had. Then he looked up at her. His eyes were orange. He opened his mouth, an orange ooze slowly dripping out.

Nekonata was terrified but not terrified enough to not act, "Guards!" She yelled. She jumps over the desk onto the dragon, trying to pin him down. The once tired-looking dragon writhed with new vigor, trying to escape her grasp.

The guards arrived and she had him on his back, still squirming under her grip and trying to get away. The guards grabbed the dragon and she let go, the guards dragging the now snarling dragon away. She let out a shaky breath. She had never been so close to an infected dragon. Her bone markings stay for a bit before fading away as she returns to her stand.

(I forgot about a few parts of the curse. If a dragon sees the markings they get scared. The fear is magically induced so even the bravest of dragons will at least get uneasy. However, if you have a strong will you can fight the fear and not be bothered by it. The curse also comes with a bit of bad luck but it usually doesn't show itself.

The post above had a bit of bad luck involved. That infected dragon could have gone anywhere else to fully change but he ended up in front of Neko lol)

Narri sat up hearing a growl and walked outside and gasped as right outside her cave was a massive black Dragon with lots of his scales missing "a-are you alright?" She asked as the massive Dragon turned and looked in her direction his demented orange eyes bore into hers "die die die die" it repeated as orange oze poored from his mouth and he launched at her lucky he missed and slipped on the water and broke his neck dying instantly. Narri screamed in panic and ran into her cave and picked up her son in her mouth and fled running as fast as she could untill she reached the city and ran to a guard telling him.

The guard saw the Dragon in distress and send tropes to retrieve the body and looked at Narri "you injured?" He said seeing the scratch "best get that seen to incase you become infected" he said and left and Narri walked towards the stalls not worried about the scratch she got it when she was running to the town.

Nekonata sees the dragon that bought her potion earlier and calls out to her, "You again? How is your son faring?" She takes a few steps from her stall to greet the dragon, "I never got your name." She smiles, trying not to show how nervous she was after the infected attack.

(the fear only comes when the bone markings are present btw)

Narri turned around and looked at neko and walked over and placed Talanik her hatching down "I'm not sure, we was attacked before I could see any results" she replied and sat down "oh and my Name is Narri and this is my son Talanik" she said and smiled. Talanik looked nothing like his mother not even close or the same spices of Dragon

"Well then nice to meet you Narri." She looked down at the hatchling by her side, "And you too Talonik." She didn't seem to mind that they didn't look alike, "You were attacked? I was too! Are you alright?"

Narri nodded and foqened telling her in detail what happen and how the guard said it wasn't the first case they had in fact they seen many cases and Narri voice showed she was concerned and frightened for the safety of her hatching
