Pshhh, group rps are only horrible when you have someone running it that doesn't know what they're even doing. You can't wing them nearly as much as a 1x1. You need some kind of story hook and flow.
Also I don't have an amino (hate it tbh), but I was just wondering what kind of fantasy stuff you usually do?

G/t with mythical creatures and heavy magic. I hate groups because no one listens to you if there is an odd # of ppl cause they all hook onto a partner, or even if they are all engaged I get answered once every 2 hours.
1x1 are just as good, you don't have to divide your attention and can have just as much story

Yeah, that seems to be a problem with this site, probably because of lack of experience? I DM a lot of smaller group rps on other sites and via Discord and the only one I see regularly is the partner one. The delays I can understand (and I expect them way more with forum rps, in some places it can take days or a week to hear back) because people generally have lives outside of the internet. Groups can be a lot of fun, but they are pretty dependant on the people in them not ruining it. Horrible groups are definitely the worst though.
Unfortunately I don't rp any g/t stuff since it has some weird connations to me thanks to some past rp partners, I wish you the best on finding someone though. ^^

Thx, and actually I've never roleplayed on here, this is my first attempt all the bad groups were on amino, discord, text message, and on paper with some questionable ppl.

Oof, yeah.
Discord's really hit and miss tbh, any large or public group I've been in has been a trash fire either out of bad organization or drama. I've had to take time out to actually search for decent groups and most of the partners I have now are people I've gotten to know personally. Definitely had my fair share of questionable partners even then.. Honestly, best of luck. Hope you can find some long term ones.
