"You know what Kora I have no idea." She stopped preening herself when she heard footsteps, bringing herself closer to the glass again. Moth man. She thought as she saw the lanky figure step into view. This one wasn't so bad. He always made sure she didn't starve. Boreal made a chittering noise and put her beak against the glass where his hand was, trying to make sure he understood that she was thankful for him being around. She sat up straight again, bringing her tail around herself and shifting her wings.

The man stopped in his tracks for a bit when she spoke. He had seen her do it a few times before but it always surprised him. Un-nerved him even. He advances again, taking out a needle filled with sedative, now only a few steps from the creature, "With you making this much noise I'm sure you know we have to check on you. If you cooperate I'll consider not hurting you." he said to her. Of course, he wouldn't hurt this one. He knew it would get him in a world of trouble with his superiors, something about it being "fragile". He kneels next to her in an attempt to sedate her.

He gave her a slight smile and motioned a few of the guards over.
"I need this one restrained and brought down to the lab. Carefully this time, please. Miss Elise has a set of tests to run on her. Let her know that I will be returning shortly."

Jiishi watched him get closer, her lynx ears twitching slightly. Her plan wasn't going to work if she was going to be sedated. She needed to somehow coax the guard into not giving her the sedative. It was the last thing she wanted to do, but she had to do it. This time, she was getting out for sure.
"P-Please, I hate needles. I'll be good, I promise. I-I just get scared. I was hungry." Jiishi made her voice tremble, and she cowered back even more. "I-I used to be human, I was no different than you are now."

"Sorry I can't do that for you. It's against code." He inserts the needle into your shoulder through the straitjacket. You can feel it just barely pierce your skin, he is obviously not very skilled at this. The sedative does not go into your bloodstream and instead, some goes into your muscles, the majority goes down your arm. He seems to think that worked, but you don't feel drowsy. Since only a small amount went into your muscles you won't be fully sedated and it will take much longer for any effect.

As Boreal saw the guards being brought over she stood up, a bit of fear springing into her eyes. She opened her wings and tossed her head, backing up. Her long tail lashed side to side, she never really liked the guards, and if they were going to hurt her she would most certainly try to hurt them.

Jiishi gave a little yelp at the needle piercing her skin, but she didn't feel it go all the way through like it normally did. Suddenly she realized that the guard didn't inject it into her skin correctly. She didn't feel that wave of sleepiness or nausea come over her body.
Jishii acted quickly, and began to act like the sedative was doing it's job. She slowly closed her eyelids, letting her body relax, as well as slowing her breathing. Now all she had to do was wait for him to remove the restraints, and then wait a little while longer until she was brought out of the hall. She was confident enough she could try to figure her way out of the place.
This time for sure, she would get out, and burn the place to the ground herself.
