Adona bit her lip as the ship grazed against the building. She often forgot how emotional she could get in such things. The moment she chose someone to cheer on, she found herself on emotional ups and downs as she willed them towards the finish. It was silly, she knew that, but it made the race more exciting in a sense. She leaned forward. Her eyes looked blank as if she was entranced by the whole ordeal. She had fallen into complete obsession.

Lyyra leaned into her turn, she didn't want to nearly crash again. judging by the rock she just passed she was nearly at the end of her second lap. She checked behind her to see another ship catching up. Lyyra chewed her lip and reached to pull the same lever she did earlier, realizing she was at her top speed that wouldn't break her engine. (around ninety mph) But by the looks of the other person's ship, they didn't need the credits. She groaned, cursing at herself for not modding the engine the night before. She flicked a few switches, slowly pulling back and watched as her ship began to gain speed. Despite how hard she wad working her baby, it was doing fine. Soon enough she passed the stands a second time, her ship beginning to smoke. "One more lap, one more lap please.", She whispered desperately.

Adona gulped. She was slightly whimpering. Though despite her sudden worry, she chose to continue watching. To most, she probably looked kind of crazy. As if it would somehow help, she began cheering for the blaize.

Lyyra took a sharp turn, sliding, the ship'swing was a centimeter from touching the sand. Her heart thundered in her chest and her marroon eyes shimmered with excitement and she felt the rumbling stop and saw the smoke evaporate. She laughed out loud, following the walls, she began to lose herself in the race, happy that her ship finally got a grip.

Adona seemed to relax at that. She smiled widely. Her complete attention on the race distracted her from the comlink going off in her pocket. She continued to cheer.

Lyyra noticed one of the cameras filming her so she sped up a bit, just to show off before it flicked back to the others who were trying to surpass her. That little push caused her engine to rumble in complaint. Lyyra hissed, asking it to keep up for just one more lap because the third lap was all that counted. When she saw the stands up ahead she started cheering, but the angry pilot from earlier was trying to surpass her. She gasped, pushing a little too hard on the exelorator again. The ship puffed but it kept going.
