"Fine, fine. Everything's fine. The kids are doing well in school and mom is bringing in more money. I'm good." Beverly kicked a rock and began to walk, not to anywhere in particular, her feet just started moving. "Trying to catch the people who have chaos magic, some fight is going to break out over the stupid ban. I'll bet on it."


(So if they aren't the chaotic type of magic are they against the chaos ones or allied with them?)

Cherry followed, nodding slowly at her words, glad things where fine, "Maybe you could come back to school? I really miss you in the classes," She said with a sigh, thinking about how bad the kids started to treat her after Beverly had left school, "I thought they banned all magic," She said her voice almost a whisper as she looked around anxiously, hoping no one could hear her.

Bev shook her head, "Mom still needs me to work a job or two now and then. Plus I've probably fallen too far behind to know anything useful." Beverly turned towards a flier stuck on a tree and stared at it. "They did, chaos just got the worst blow out of all of us. Look, they're putting bounties on notorious magic users now."



(I think they're all magic so they should stick together but we can ask scout when their active tomorrow)

Cherry sighed, knowing everything Beverly said was true, "I guess that's true, but I still wish you could come to school," She said as they came across a side walk, automatically stopping when she saw the stop sign on the other side before walking across when she realized it was safe, "Why are people so afraid of magic anyways?"

Bev followed and shrugged once she caught up. "We're different, they don't like that. It makes them feel inferior and they'd rather have silly ranks they make up." Beverly stopped and stared at a tree, there seemed to be a figure sitting in it but she ignored it and again caught up to Cherry

"Weird... they shouldn't get so upset though," Cherry said with yet another sigh as she looked up at the tree, she spotted a figure in it but ignored it, "Why a-"
She was cut off as a police car pulled up and a police lady stuck her head out, "Hello there! Have you happened to see a teenage boy? His parents are worried about him," Cherry shook her head and said a quick no, looking at the tree where the person sat, was that the boy?

Beverly watched the lady, she seemed nice, but Bev wasnt going to even hint that someone was in the tree. "Tons of teen boys out and about right now ma'am. School just got out."

"Could you give a more apt description about this boy?" Honey says, skipping up to her friends with a friendly wave. " I don't think my brother would be in trouble. " She points out.

(All magic is banned because the government people are afraid of anything that has a possibility of becoming dangerous and try to over throw them. Chaos magic is mainly the reason of this because the magic is hard to control. In short, all magic is banned, no matter what type of is.)

Bev gave a smile to Honey. She kicked around some of the dust that was on the ground, watching it float then settle. She was thinking back to her house, she shouldn't have climbed out like that but they won't mind if she's gone for a little. All her chores were done anyways

The police lady let out a tiny sigh, like she had already told many people before her, "Well his name is Levi and his has black hair and blue eyes. His parents are very worried about him. Have you guys by chance seen him?"

Cherry stayed silent, unsure how to answer, but then her loyalty to the law took over and she pointed at the tree, "Is that by chance him?"

Levi looked up from the book he was reading, noticing a police officer he froze, afraid that they would spot him. Tucking his book in his pocket he watched them, only to watch as a girl with red hair point at him.
