Archer, when he arrived home, was panting very hard, holding the vegetables and bottle of water in his hand. He wished his mom was still alive. It was a dumb wish. An impossible one. He couldn't bring his mom back to life! He was crazy. When he recovered from his hard sprint from the grocery store, he quickly and quietly walked upstairs to the storage cabinet he used to put all the food and everything else needed to live inside. He stuffed the supplies into the storage cabinet, and sat down on the floor, exhausted. "I have to get up," he thought, " and be on the lookout for more zombies. He wished there was still someone in this town that could protect him. Or even someone he could protect. At least like that, he would at least feel useful rather than useless. At that moment, he decided to actually risk his life again, running across the neighborhood to the nearest inhabited house, to see if they could join up and protect each other. He walked down the stairs, and when he neared the door, he grabbed his bow and arrow, and looked through the window to make sure there were no zombies nearby before he sprinted outside to the nearest house. There weren't. He opened the door, trying not to make any noise opening it, closed the door, and sprinted across the lawn, hopped over the 6 and a half foot wall, and hurriedly ran toward the nearest inhabited house. He met a few zombies on the way there, but he just shot them with his bow and arrow and ran even faster to the house he was aiming for. A few moments later, he saw the house. There were a few lights on in the house, which made him run all the harder because he wanted to make it there alive. When he arrived at the house, he jumped over another 6 and a half foot fence into the house lawn, and stared, awed, at the size of the house. It was a mansion!! "Snap out of it." he thought to himself, "Get in that house as fast as possible before you die." He sprinted toward the front door, knocked, and waited for the person who lived there to answer. He knocked again, and heard thumping on the steps. He thought to himself, "Hurry up whoever you are!! I don't want to be eaten right now!! I'd rather live actually!!"
Orange Blossom opened the door, and saw a really handsome young man, carrying a bow and arrow. She offered to let him in, and the young man gladly hopped into the house and Orange Blossom, at that moment, became a bit flushed in the face. "He's cute." She thought to herself. The boy, at that moment, said, "My name is Archer by the way. Can you close the door now so we don't get eaten by zombies??" "Sure." Orange says. She closes the door and says, "Ok. So what are you doing here, and why are you carrying a bow??" Then, Archer saw the sword hanging on the wall. "Wow. What is that for??" he said. "Uh..... That's personal. Answer my question now, before I use the sword on you." Orange Blossom said. "All right." Archer said. "Here's why I'm here. I want to offer you a deal. We can partner up, and team up against the zombies, and anyone else out there that's a threat. I can get you food and water, and everything you need." It did sound tempting to Orange Blossom's stomach, so she said "Yes." "Ok." said Archer. " I guess I can stay here then, if we are partnering up??" "Sure........... I guess??" said Orange Blossom.

Amelia blinked almost owlishly at the girl. She listened to her tale and thought it over for a moment. For now, it didnt seem like any harm could come to her staying with them. They could use an extra pair of hands and an extra set of eyes. Perhaps they could even train her up a bit to be less jumpy and perhaps not need to pinch her arm. Amelia could only raise an eyebrow at the movement. It was a little strange.
She listened, comforted by the sound of Sebastian pacing on the rooftop. She had become quite used to the sound and she knew Sebastian had also become used to the sound of her footsteps on the roof. She quickly calculated what they had as far as supplies and what would need to be done to adjust the numbers from two to three.
Water wouldnt be a problem. They had enough water for the whole block, likely. It had been raining quite frequently. Shelter also wouldnt be a problem. There was more than enough space and furnishings for a third person. Clothing may become an issue, but a few extra sets of clothes wouldnt be difficult to pick up at the store. The two girls could dash out together another time to get what she needed. Food was a concern, but it also shouldnt be too difficult to adjust their growing schedule to add in another mouth.
Even if they were able to help provide for this girl, she and Sebastian would need to talk it over and make sure the three of them could live in the same house. And, frankly, they needed to know if they could trust her to keep watch while they slept and to refrain from using more than her rations. Even if they had enough food for a month, that didnt mean they needed to eat the whole months worth in a day, after all.
She looked the girl over again as she let her thoughts settle in her head. First things first, they needed to speak with Sebastian. After that, if she was staying, she would need to find something to wear other than that ridiculous dress. It may look pretty, but it was far from something useful to wear, especially while trying to evade detection by zombies or sneaking in and out of buildings.
Come. She broke the silence with another whisper, only to turn her back on the girl and start walking quickly towards the staircase to the left of the stairs. She darted up the steps, quickly, quietly, knowing each step and where the creeks were. If the girl happened to make the stairs creek, it was of no real concern. Nothing would be able to get into the house with them, and especially not without Sebastians notice.
Moving quickly, she tried to keep the girl on her toes, not knowing exactly where they were heading and not knowing where everything was in the house. She led the other to what was supposed to be an office. It was the room they used to climb up and down from the roof. It had some notes and charts. There was a map of the town hanging on the white wall. Another small table was used as a desk, holding a few pens in a repurposed empty can of coke. The top of the coke can had been cut off and the sharp edges folded down to keep from cutting the first fool to grab for a pen without caution.
Stopping in the room, she knocked on the open windows framing, wordlessly asking Sebastian to come inside. She stepped out of the way, allowing the taller boy to slide into the room through the window.
Sebastian heard the knock and took a final look around the house. No zombies were nearby, and neither were there any new visitors. He walked over to the edge of the roof and slid into the room by window, just as Amelia had earlier. He glanced to her and then to the shadow of a girl who had followed her upstairs.
He offered Amelia a questioning look, trying to get an idea of the story as to why the girl was at their door and inside their house. Amelia offered the quick answer he sought. She wants to stay here.
((Maybe its just me, but I'm getting a bit confused with people editting their posts and changing the story after I've read it. Is there any way to refrain from doing so? Perhaps editting it to delete the whole post and post again rather than updating something?))

((The only reason I'm editing my post is because I though Sarahbug1020 was at my door, meaning I had to change my story a whole lot to change it because she responded to your post, which was after my post, when I posted first about her being at my door. Then you said in your post that was after mine that she was at your door, and she responded to you, saying she was at your door, which made me have to change my whole store because of you 2. No offense but it's really annoying))

((I apologize if it was unclear in the writing. I wasn't trying to point fingers to you for editting your post, simply stating that if anyone were to edit it, I would be confused. Your post simply happened to be the first one to edit in the middle of the plot. No harm no foul. I simply wish for something to be changed in the future to avoid confusion on my part.))

Sage was actually surprised to see that someone had opened the door. Her head whipped around to see a rather tall boy, at least tall compared to her, with black hair and dull copper eyes. She couldn't help but take note of his features, it was how she learned to remember people quickly. She quickly scrambled into the house, slipping past him after she thought she heard something behind her. But of course, it was just her mind making things up again. Sometimes she'd see shadows and hear moans that weren't really there because of her over active imagination.
By the time she was to what seemed to be the kitchen, she had fully realized that she had just entered the house of a stranger. Quickly, she turned around and looked up at the guy who was kind enough to let her in. "Uh . . ." Sage was at a lose for words. It has been a while since she saw another person, an alive person that is, and she wasn't quite sure how to react.
"Thanks for letting me in." she said softly. After a second, her eyes started to look the room around her. The windows were boarded up with wood and strangely enough, medal pipes as well. She turned towards the kitchen once more, seeing a half opened can of peaches and a old looking screw driver besides in. Also sitting on the floor was a camping lantern that lite up the room well.
Once she got her fill of the kitchen, she turned back towards the guy and looked at him, again, studying him again. He was wearing a pair of rather messy, black fitted Jeans along with a matching black T-shirt. His shoes were white, strangely enough, but also seemed messy and stained with mud and what looked like blood. It was only know that she realized that he was holding a weapon. A modified baseball bat that had sharp looking nail sticking out of the top of it. It gave her the chills until she noticed the pink flowerier Duck Tape on the handle. This made her crack a smile, which she tried to hide quickly with her hand while looking away at the same time.
((By the way, I'm having a phone call with SarahBug, and she'd giving me permission to write like this. The only reason she's not on right now is because she had to go.))

Ania woke up and streached. She didn;t sleep very long but every second counted. She grabbed her bat and jumped down from the shelf. Her skirt lifted upwards and she quickly hoisted it down again.
She glanced around hoping to spot someone, no one here. She walked out and spotted several zombies. She ran over to them and beat their heads, making them fly into walls, bins, cars you name it, even other zombies. She kept hitting the head but then spotted a zombie which caught her off guard. Her foster mum...w-was there... Ania welled up looking at the rotten face of her mother. " M-mu-mummy... " she whispered. Reaching towards the zombie. Hoping for her mother to come back.
" Mummy! "
Zeck glanced up from the poll and spotted a girl with a baseball bat, she was reaching towards a female zombie and was crying. Zeck groaned and slid down the poll, his claws left deep gashed. He then ran over to the zombie by the girl, digging his claws deep into it's head and then ripping it off. The girl screamed and looked at Zeck, his face had some of the blood on it but that didn't matter. He then shouted at the girl. " You idiot! Do you want to die! You can't let zombies kill you! " he grabbed the girl's hand and she screamed again.
" Get off me! Get off! You killed my mother! Get off me! " Tears poured down her face as she tried getting to the headless body of her mother. Zeck grabbed her face, careful not to cut it, and turned it to face him. " Don't! If that's your mother then I would find it hard to believe you survived this long! " Zeck then softend his tone " but listen, your mother was turned into a zombie and I just saved your life from her killing you..."
Ania looked at the boy gripping her face. Tears still in her eyes. " But mummy... " she cried harder and dug her face into the boy's shirt, completly soaking it from tears.
Zeck looked confused at what the girl suddenly did. His eagle then flew back and spotted him. It rested on his head and looked oddly at the girl.
