Jake was lying on a rock behind some tree. As soon as he had gotten to shore he ran away from the beach as fast as he could. One reason: water. He was to distracted to even start to think about what he was going to do now. All that really mattered to him at that point in time was: A. He had ground, not a ocean, underneath him, and B: Now it would be easier to avoid. After a few minutes, he realized that there was a chance that he could see other creatures here, and since there was a chance some of them wouldn't be human, then maybe one of them would take the time to get to know him. That was the thought that made him forget aboutthat terrifying boat ride to this place. He got up and started to walk around, looiking for any other signs of life. Or maybe another spirit, that would work too.
