Backstory: He used to follow humans walking along mountain paths in Japan at night. He would eat them if they looked tired or tripped. One day, he followed a girl and discovered that she was looking for a thief. Apparently, they had been stealing from her family. He watched over their house for her and caught the thief. The family was grateful and gave him red rice and his favorite foods as their thanks. They asked for his protection and in return they would give him more food and honor from them. He took the offer and protected the family for five generations. The last generation was an only child who wished to be a monk. He protected and gave the son the wisdom he gained thought the years. While having a walk with in a garden, the son was harassed by mysterious figures. Of course Okuri-inu tried to protect that son. But he was captured by the mysterious figures in the end. But he made sure to fight back before, during, and after getting captured. He was then sent to hell and became a hellhound.
