Kota nodded thankfully before he sighed rubbing the back of his head making his hear all bloody. " Gahh..... I feel stupid " he said looking at the ground as she sheathed his knife before looking at you directly " well Med Jack is there anything I can help you with then? least I can do for you keeping her royal stubbornness alive"

Silas laughed. "Not at the moment, no. Well, if you wouldn't mind keeping a closer eye on Avery than you already do. I just want to make sure that the toxins get out of her system entirely."

he nodded though he seemed unsure of himself as he watched the short blonde girl near the gates stumble to her feet " Mind if I lock her in the shack? I'm not as fast as she is" he said with a chuckle looking back at Silas as she started to the gates the sun setting quickly

Silas smiled and shook his head. He figured he had better find Feena and show her to her hut and explain the rules. He started towards the Deadheads, but he heard someone behind him. He turned and saw Feena. "How did you get there?" She just shrugged, not replying otherwise. He led her to a shack and said, "This is your new house. And there are three rules here everyone has to obey. One, never go outside unless you're a runner. Two, don't ever hurt another Glader and three? Everyone here does there part. Tomorrow, you're gonna get assigned a job."

Kota took off after a giggling and spinning Avery silently thinking Silas he couldn't count the times Silas had saved their tails, more so Avery than his. The Med jack was good at his job and even though he acted distant he seemed to care more than he let on. Avery was spinning and mumbling some nonsense as she pointed up at the sky, he knew he needed to keep her out of camp like this, it wouldent be a good impression on the younger gladers. With a chuckle he grabbed her wrist and started singing making her giggle and join in in her hallucinogenic trip. the two dancing around more for Kota to wear Avery out than anything else. but when the two reached the slat pad in front of the gates Avery froze and her expression sobered as she looked at the gates making Kota stop and let go of her wrist. the little blonde seemed to be in a trance as she slid from Kotas side and approached the gates Kotas knife clattering against the stone making him jump out of his skin " what the shuck Avery! are you jackked?!" he said picking up his knife frantically his heart racing as he saw the drops of blood on the stone as she laid a hand on the wall, but as badly as he wanted to stop her it was almost like her mood when she was in the map room a mood Kota instinctively knew not to interrupt. SHe was writting on the wall and the darkness hid most of it, but what he could see made his skin crawl....

ESCAPE ZK23

as she finished she collapsed against the wall. Kota paused before taking off his shirt to wrap her hand and picking her up heading back to camp looking for Silas and the others

Silas was still outside one of the shacks, explaining to the ever silent Feena. At times she just rolled her eyes at him, not really caring what he said. She looked at her wrist, finally saying something: "Oh man! Look at the time! I better get going," she said, pushing past Silas. He saw Kota with Avery in his arms and jogged over to them, keeping his expression calm. "What happened?"
(Long isn't a bad thing)

" She want all Jacked on me and cut her hand..... " he said a little frantic " It was weird, she wrote something on the gates...." he said looking at the group of gladers eating around the night fire

"What did she write?" He asked, demanding the information while taking her into his arms. He inspected her hand and figured it would just heal itself in time. He thought that he had left some pieces of extra bandages at the Homestead

" Escape ZK23" he said not knowing what it was all about following Silas as he carried her.
