"Hopefully... hey, were you in the area when there was that huge fight that almost destroyed the city happened? My parent's shop and my home was absolutely trashed... good thing that the hero fixed everything, or we'd be in real trouble" Seth said, scratching at the back of his neck and hoping his small talk wasn't making things awkward

"I heard about it!" She pouted as she continued, launching a volley of questions. Her hands twirled her golden locks of hair as she spoke, curious. "But I didn't get to actually see it! How much did it destroy? Is your family okay? Oh my gosh, who was the hero? Like, an actual superhero?"

"Is she your sister?" Raphael asked, mildly curious. For some reason, he was still a bit stuck thinking about the weird peacock brooch. Had it been wrong to take it? "Or one of your friends?"

"The hero... well, there were actually a few of them, there was some girl in a ladybug costume, a mouse, a rooster, a turtle, and a few other animal heroes fighting some butterfly dude, who possessed a bunch of people and forced them to fight, I have a few videos of it on my phone, if you want, I can text you all the videos I took, I'd just need your phone number" Seth said, pulling out his phone

"A mouse? And a rooster? Animal heroes? Huh, that's kinda cool but I've never really heard of that. " She blinked, incredulous, before snapping out of that state after a few seconds. She fumbled with her own backpack, pulling out her phone and opening it up. She still hadn't memorized her new number- she had only gotten it the day before, and still mixed it up with her old one. "Here it is."

"Yeah, it was crazy" Seth said, sending all the videos and a few photos to Skye. "Oh! Class is starting soon, we should go find our classrooms... I think I have a map of the school in my photos, I'll send that to you too. It looks like our classrooms are right next to each other... this way!" Seth said, leading the way

"Thanks!" She grinned, saving his contact as she followed him on their way to class. "I hope I won't stick out too much in class, with my American accent and my inability to speak French."

*Well, I guess well both stick out then, I have a bit of a Chinese accent, since half of my family was in China, I go there a lot* Seth said with a grin. *I guess were both foreign freaks* he chucked

"The greatest, most iconic duo of them all!" She added, laughing and slipping her phone into her pocket. "I'm curious to see how many nicknames I get today. Being the constant new girl in America was one thing but now.... it's France. Whoo."

"A friend who isn't from Paris but since her dad died she was sent here to live with my family." Justin explained, "And the first person she met in Paris was a girl who tooks her books and threw them in the river and one was her father's journal."
