"Wisteria," she mumbled. "Y'know, after the plant..."

She looked at her light brown paws, suddenly feeling awkward. "May I ask about your tail...?"

Thunder made her way through the bushes and stumbled upon two cats talking. She atteptmed to stay hidden, and tucked her wings against her side's and backing into the shadows

She preferred to cool, calm shade under the dark pine trees, and would have almost completely blended in with the shadows on the ground if not for her violet eyes and large wings. Her steps were graceful, and her nose titled up towards the sky as she took in a deep breath, searching for any scent that could possibly mean food. Her paws were quiet against the forest floor, and the only sound that she could hear was of leaves rustling in trees, the birds chirping, and the sound of water trickling somewhere nearby. She decided to head towards the water and have a quick drink before she hunted for today's meal.

"This?" Boulder asked, lifting his tail, which was still covered in earth, "This is just temporary. I can make my tail return to normal. May I ask why your den is a thornbush with no entrance?"

Wisteria's eyes widened. Maybe he was different, like her. She looked around.

"It's so no predators can get in, but I see that has not worked..." She gestured to the hole in the den wall. "I'll have to fortify it."

I'm not revealing my power. Not yet. Not until I know I can trust him, Wisteria thought with unease.

"It's also so no sunlight can get in-" she paused, realizing her mistake. Moss couldn't grow where there was no sun.

"Ah, you can control plant life, can't you?" Boulder purred kindly, "I can control earth and stone."

"Woah," Wisteria jerked her head back.

"Uh, no," she huffed, turning away. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

She then looked at Boulder out of the corner of her eye and whispered, "How do you know?"

Thunder trotted out of the shadows, like she didn't mean to come upon them.

Boulder heard a rustle outside, and looked back, to see another cat in the trees behind him.

"Who are you?" he yowled.

Thunder flinched. She flew up into the air so he couldn't hurt her. "My name is Thunder"
