To be honest he's your typical noble, he can be a bit of a jerk most of the time. Dorian has no problems telling you if something isn't to his standards. He tends to like the fancier things in life, he will not settle for second best. He can be very blunt when he wants to be and isn't afraid to give his options. He tends to keep his feelings at bay and tries to only use humor to get on people's nerves. All in all inside he's a broken man, torn between a life he wants to live and a life he hates though he's not sure which is which yet.
Backstory:
Dorian was born to a family that hated one another. His mother and father constantly fought and family gatherings nearly always ended in bloodshed. As he grew up though they found the power he held was much greater than they imagined and even went as far as shipping him off to have him taught how to use them. At the age of 29 he inherited the throne when his father was assassinated, though that was after he had left home. He had his father didn't see eye to eye on the fact he preferred men to women, and had a dispute that led to the young prince leaving home for a bit until his father's death. Now he's not sure if he truly wants this life or if the life of freedom suited him better...

Born Power:
Being from a selected family of mages he is amongst one of the best mages in the kingdom. 'A product of selective breeding' he calls himself, since magic runs in both his mother and father's veins. Now he has inherited that power, though not without a price. When he gets really worked up he has a tendency to lose control, or have flare ups of power that he can't help. For the most part he can keep it handled though sometimes he ends up destroying or hurting those close to him.
Gifted Power:
Along the lines of being a mage he is a necromancer, bringing the spirits of the dead back to fight along side him. Problem with this is he can't control what spirits he brings back or how many. Even then though he can be left weak from the lose of that much magic.
Other:
Nothing beats sitting by a campfire, roasting marshmallows and eating the plain chocolate by itself.

Appearance:
He's an elf meaning he's tall (about 5'9) and thin in an elegant way. His hair is a silver color, and normally pulled back into a small ponytail with a braid going from the side back to the ponytail. His eyes are a stunning amber color nearly being a like the color of a cat eyes (yellowish). When he was little, he as well as his family were captured and branded with a branching tree tattoo upon his face (going up the bridge of his nose with the trunk with the bare branches covering his forehead, and some branches twisting under his eyes). They were later sold as slaves, the markings showing to which house they belong. This is silver in color. He also has a faint scar on the left side of his mouth that crossing his lips.

Personality:
For the most part he is a very helpful person that tries to make friends with everyone that he meets. It takes a lot for him not to trust you (unless you are an elf hater), and once that trust is broken it takes a lot to win it back. Some say he puts too much trust into people, and that one day it will get him into trouble. To most he tends to be a tad bit charming, some even go as far as saying that he is on the flirty side. He likes flirting though tends to swing more towards men the woman but he's been known to flirt with both even if it doesn't lead anywhere. His main goal in life is to put a smile on everyone's face.
Backstory:
Before he was born his family had a firm standing in elven culture, that was until their home and entire life savings was taken from them. He was born in the back of a wagon as they were starting their journey eastward towards a better life. Life in the clan was rather uneventful, just wandering around looking for odd and end jobs. That was until he and many of the other elves (including his mother) were captured to be sold as slaves to rich human families. His mother was brutally beaten to death right before him and the tattoo was cruelly placed upon his face before he was sold at auction to the highest bidder. After a few weeks his father managed to locate him and free him though the act ended up costing him his life. Homeless and stained with the burden of slavery he wander the country side until now.

What exactly do you mean by 'messenger'? I know what a messenger is, but remember, everyone is stripped of their titles and no longer have servants and messengers and such.

A Messenger of the Everfire? Yes, go ahead. I thought you meant a normal messenger, someone who would just bring news/deliver messages and stuff.
