Velos felt his hooves in front of him and he kept his neck down in a more comfortable position, smelling the ground for any greenery and slowly walking towards the fog, trying to conserve energy.

Farther down the road, a house sat, seeming mostly untouched. On the porch of the house, there were two potted plants, which seemed to be dying a bit. Through the windows, you could see more plants, which were a bright green.

He quickened his pace and tried to still stay quiet, he could do with eating as much food as possible and learning to store it before some other animal ate it.

The journey to the house held no danger, and except for the shadows and feeling of being stared at, the house seemed pretty welcoming. The plants grew tall, and had large leaves and blades of grass growing in the potted soil. A picture hung on the wall, showing a human with two kids. A small male kid held a black cat, it's long tail curling around the human's arm.

Velos took in the humans and the cat. Interesting. he doubted they'd lived though. he put his head down and carefully grazed on the plants, ears pricked for unusual noises but letting his muscles relax.

A hiss escaped from the doorway, and a big cat stood before you. He bared his fangs in a snarl, and unsheathed his claws. "Who are you?" He growled.

"I am not you, I can tell you that" he looked up, his voice was blank with a hint of warmness, he didn't feel like fighting and was trying to act like a harmless herbivore.
