Her footsteps made no noise at all as she swiftly and gracefully raced through the paved streets of the city around her. All the buildings seemed to be a little off, different looking in one way or another. She spotted the library up in the distance- the door was open. Her blonde hair floating in the air behind her, she ducked under the door frame and entered the building.

((By human standards, it was the year 1424, now its the year 11,424. However, due to the interference of Deities, they havent advanced nearly as much as people have irl, so modern tech there is about as good as it is here))

-Aurienne, stay back, I dont need my full divine powers to tell that she isnt human- Anahita warned. Putting a hand out. The woman was wearing an elegant dress of royal blues and deep purples, with a beautiful tiara on her head.

-Wise, little Ana- the woman observed -Auri, I suppose some might say its nice to see you too...- the woman said. -I suppose Im being rude though, but I suppose I should be a little blunt here. You two are powerless against me, youre just two outdated deities who have no proper place in this new world Ive created- She said, closing her book and standing up.

-I suggest you two do a little crash course lesson here, find some normal clothes, and live out your lives as immortals here amongst the humans. My name is Amira, Deity of creation, and one of the three currently worshipped deities here- She introduced herself, walking past the two old deities. She stood at least a foot taller than Anahita and Aurienne currently did, and her cape trailed behind her as she exited the building, vanishing shortly down the street

Aurienne felt her blue eyes narrow as she felt the need to summon a blast of air. As the woman vanished down the street, she turned to Anahita. "What does she mean? We can't possibly have been forgotten within seconds, could we? Nothing could have progressed so much in such little time! We can't possibly... have been asleep... for..."

Anahita's eyebrows raised as she looked along the walls. "Auri... I think... we've been gone a really long time. She said, stepping back a little. Old paintings and tapestries were in ruins, some of her old favorites torn up or missing.

Anahita walked over to a plaque drilled into the wall, reading the descriptions of all the surviving things, and then she got to one she hadn't recognized, which was a silhouette of the four deities, grayed out with three glowing orbs around them. Ana read the description

"Auri, we've been gone for around 10,000 years... maybe even longer, when was this written? When are we?" Anahita began to panic.

"Ten thousand years..." Aurienne felt her hair fall back down to hit her back, the breeze that always seemed to blow it back suddenly disappearing. "We've almost been forgotten. They're worshipping new deities. And with no power, it'll be difficult to find Nissi and Tiene."

"Nissi was in his temple, I heard him calling out earlier... we have to get to him!" Anahita said, grabbing Aurienne's arm and pulling her outside. "So, our powers are in relics, so all we have to do is find our relics and get our powers, save Tiene... wherever he is, and restore our names and positions" Anahita told Aurienne the plan as she pulled her through the streets.
