Kragvir nodded when Shadow finally replied to his question. When she also reacted to his second point about the howl, he nodded to himself. Yes, this was a wolf that could be trusted as alpha, someone who was capable and willing to help others, just as he himself was.

He was off, into the air, flapping his wings to gain height above the brown wolf, who he know noticed was being followed by a blue wolf, and shadowed them from the skies.

He was worried for whoever the broken howl had come from earlier, swooping forwards as fast as his rather weak muscles could take him. As a result of his exertion, he arrived at the site before the others.

Alighting with a skid, he came to a stop at the edge of the clearing, peering cautiously at what seemed to be a pile of fur in the center of the place. Immediately he padded forwards, worried that if he hesitated for even a moment things would be bad.

"Are... Are you okay?" He asked the wolf.

--

Asora sighed inwardly, knowing that she had to play the part so others would accept her. So, without further ado, she spread her wings, powerful muscles churning, and shot into the air.

Before her she could see the dusky male wolf, also in the air, his majestic feathered wings pumping as he drew ahead if those on the ground. According to her assessments, he was rather weak physically, but very strong mentally.

Although she was in the air, she hung back more than the others. She really didn't care wether the wolf they were trying to save died or not. It was simple. The weak died, so there was no point in saving them.

So, she hung above everyone in the air, watching everything with a sharp eye. She would protect everyone, watch out for enemies, she decided. Let the other wolves deal with the one who was most likely very possibly going to die.

-Ferox-
I heard the broken howl and watched the other wolves take off in its direction and I did too and I also caught two rabbits along he way after all the wolf could be starving or injured. 'I can't do much for injuries but I can help with hunger.' I said to myself as a speed through the air and landed a few feet away from the lone wolf. I approached slowly and I laid down the two rabbits right next to the wolf.
-Luna-
While I was running towards the source of the first howl I heard a second broken sounding one, one of desperation mingling with hope. I changed course instantly and ended up running into a wolf, a male one to be exact, with a gray coat he looked to be from a more northern climate. "Ooof!"

Once the others had arrived she had managed to pull herself to her feet, desperately masking her way towards the wolf. As long as she was still breathing she refused to give up, even if she was going to die trying. When the brush broke before her though she stopped, physically shaking from the effort of standing. That hadn't taken long. Though she was unable to muster the strength to speak with them. Her vision flashed and black spots danced before her eyes as she fell forward not able to stand alone anymore. Had she really found other wolves? Were they nice? Did she really care at this point? If they killed her what would it matter? So she let unconsciousness take her, hoping at this would be the last time she was ever this weak either way the wolves chose to deal with her.

Even in the night the bane of his existence shone brightly for all to see. His eyes, the very thing that kept pups up at night were ever shining in the gloom that he called home. Even when he slept he felt them shining as a warning for all those near enough to see. Shaking his head some the large male lupoar cleared his horns of the grass that covered them. The strong muscles in his legs rippled as she strode out of the cave stretching once he was out in the moonlight. In the distance a lone howl could be heard, followed by another until they all joined in. At the end though one wavered, broken and defeated. Perhaps it was an older wolf left to die? Or an injured one? The thought made his heart swell with sympathy. He knew the feeling...so why should he leave them to suffer alone? Sighing he trotted off, his eyes shining to light the way in the dark brush of the night. What was he going to do once he got there? Was he going to help the wolf? Could he bring himself to get that close to them? What if they too grew sick and died? He shook his head some to dismiss the thought. There was no reason to keep running from his problem, he needed to face it head on. Plague continued towards the clearing stopping just outside it as he found other wolves arriving to help the fallen one. Maybe it was best he stay out of this then...

((I find it highly unlikely that Ferox hunts two rabbits and still arrives either earlier or at the same time as the others. Even if he was flying, hunting takes time, of course, unless if the rabbits just sat there and let themselves get caught.))

"There's no time to waste." Kragvir ignored the wolf that had just bumped into him and instead focuses on the wolf that really needs help now. He looked around, making sharp eye contact with everyone present. "Someone needs to carry the wolf to a better place. Where we were before we came here is a good place, there was a cave I saw nearby we can use for shelter." He gestured at the location somewhat higher up on the mountain. "Those who know medical skills, go find some herbs for strength." Kragvir ordered.

His finely trained alpha instincts were coming into play quite unconsiously, and even if he wasn't alpha, he had to do something about the wolf.

"I can do it." The strong looking dark red she-wolf spiraled down from the air and was offering to carry the unconsious wolf.

"Ah, thank you..." Kragvir nodded, leaving the blank so she would give her name.

"Asora." The she-wolf replied quite cheerfully, dashing to the side of the wolf on the ground and heaving her into her own back. "I'll fly up there. You people get up there your own way. And, alpha," she was addressing Shadow now. "I advise you quickly get things in order. Arrange things so we can get around more easily." With that, Asora had risen into the air, pumping her bat like wings.

With her gone, Kragvir turned back to the rest of the group. "Additionally, we'll need food. Not just for the wounded wolf, but also for everyone else in the pack. Some wolves may be hungry."

He glanced around the clearing, finally noticing another wolf in the shadows around the edges, a wolf he'd never seen before. "Why, we have a newcomer." He took a few steps towards the wolf. "Greetings."

((Hawk I can't see your picture of Plague on the sign ups so I don't know what he looks like))

--

Asora circled above the commotion, silently watching. She'd flown down a little lower in order to actually hear what they were saying, in case she was needed to do something. If she was going to join the pack, she needed to be of service whenever service was needed.

The grey and white male wolf was now issuing orders as if he were the leader of the pack, and Asora snorted slightly. So much effort for nothing much. When he asked for someone to carry the wolf, Asora saw her chance to be useful.

She spiraled down, banking slightly for a gentle landing by the fallen wolf. "I can do it." She offered, a slight and sincere smile on her face. She had the muscles to carry another wolf, so why not do it? It wouldn't be here fault if the wolf died in midair, though, so she didn't mind doing the deed.

"Ah, thank you..." The other wolf was speaking again, pulling Asora out of her own thoughts.

"Asora." She grinned, giving her name. She didn't mind using her real name, as if the pack was successful, she'd need to have a name she didn't mind using long term, which was her real name. Also since nobody else had introduced themselves, Asora figured that she could lead the way by showing others how to be courteous. "I'll fly up there. You people get there your own way."

She carefully pulled the fallen she-wolf onto her back, making sure that she wouldn't fall off when Asora was in flight. Then, she turned to the brown she-wolf that had howled to gather everyone. "And, alpha, I advise you quickly get things in order. Arrange things so we can get around more easily." With that, she flapped her powerful wings a couple of times, lifting off into the air. Whatever else happened down in the clearing was no longer her business. Her order of business was now to get the wolf to the cave Kragvir mentioned safely and quickly.

She arrived, keeping her flight path straight and not wobbly, spiraling to a stop since her normal landings would throw a passenger off in no time. She lightly set the fallen wolf down, glancing at her face.

It surprised Asora to see the wolf was still alive. Perhaps she wasn't so weak after all. Asora sniffed her a couple of times then nosed her side.

"Hey, hey, can you get up?" Since the wolf apparently wasn't going to die, Asora had to take care of her.

This wolf, the large male seemed like the alpha of this throw together pack, though the black and red female was addressed as such. He was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't notice that injured female wolf had been taken away until the male addressed him. Not thinking he tucked his tail, yelped and rushed off. He didn't care in what direction he ran just as long as he was away from the others. He didn't want them all to die...not like his last pack. Then the blame had been on him. The light blue glow of his eyes and horns led his way as he rushed over the lands, hardly noticing when he tripped until he was already at the bottom of the ditch he had fallen into. Groaning a bit he sat up, now soaked in muddy water. Great...just something else he needed right now....

When she was nudged all she could do was flick her ear to the side. The black spots still danced before her eyes and now on top of that she felt sick. If she had eaten anything she would have thrown up from the flight though instead she simply dry heaved. This was horrible! All she wanted was someone to tell her she would be alright, or someone to cuddle her. Instead she got air sick and couldn't move on her own! Maybe it would be better if they killed her, just to end all the pain.

Shadow was already thinking and calculating. She clambered up onto a tree to survey the group, looking at everyone "I need two wolves, the strongest, to escort the wounded one back to a safe location while the rest of us gather and hunt food, so we can feed everyone. I don't know anyone's names, but that's not important right now. What matters is making sure everyone is safe, and well fed." She rushed off after the male that had run away, wanting to make sure he was safe.

Well it seemed that his one problem was gone though the ditch was rather steep on both sides making getting out rather difficult to do. Even with a running start he could hardly reach the top. It wasn't by any means impossible to get out just in his state of panic it was hard to focus enough to get out. So instead he laid down in the water panting. He just needed to calm down was all, if he was calm he could figure out how to get out.
