(I tend to recommend playing RPGs run by longer termed people first before setting up your own ^^ My top 5 starting tips are:
-Reserve 2 pages, makes it look neater. Use the first for information and second for players. Know how you're going to set things out and take your time, don't rush.
-Do not be afraid to be harsh. Being critical isn't attacking someone. Don't be afraid to dislike someones form. Many people are new to RPG and it's different from RPs so form criticising will happen. I get it often for RPs because i don't RP that much.
-Tell people to bold or quote + ping like I'm doing. It'll make your life so much easier, trust me.
-Talk to long term RPGers. Get their tips. See if they think your ideas good. Ask them to steal their rules, their skills, etc.
- RPers will always try to just sit around and not be pro-active. Although this doesn't mean they can go around saying "I found this.. this thing is this.." they may just say "i decide to sit around" for several posts, this is them waiting for you to create drama. Put your foot down here and say,"it's time for you to move, where would you like to go?")
I'd like to name my Dragon "Morgana". Cherokee gave a smile and replied briskly to the head wizard, "I'd like to head towards the Caeli Canyon. May I also take a map?"

(Thank you for all of the tips!)
The wizard in front of you nods. "Here is the map, it's magic, and will update with the discoveries of other adventuring wizard, as well as your own discoveries" She tells you [Map+discovered places can be viewed on page 1 of the forum]
With a wave of a staff, the stones in the area begin glowing, and you find yourself in the bottom of a canyon. Looking around, the faces of the canyon are differed shades of red, though some yellowish and green parts of the stone walls also exist. Beside your feet, there is a very small creek, and on your left, there is a rather dangerous looking path to the top of the canyons, the path is carved very thin, and looks easy to fall from.\
>>What will you do?

(If you want I can do common situations for you to kind of tell me off for ^^)
Cherokee gave a smile and took her map, "thank you" she gave a small nod of her head before giving a neutral expression as she teleported with a sigh, "Okay, lets see" she held the map up, looking for details of where the top of the path may lead too, if anything important.

(I think I'll pass on the offer for now, I just wanna work on things I still need to figure out or be more specific with)
The trail up the wall seems to lead to the top of the canyon, after that, it splits west, south, and north, but the trail seemingly fades off after only a mile or so, leaving all open ground from there.
Morgana seems interested in a large rock nearby, scratching near the wall it's leaning against with her sharp horns

She put away the map and headed over to Morgana, giving her a pat on the head, "Something wrong?" Cherokee crouched down, frowning as she inspected the rock and tested its weight.

The rock was lighter than it appeared, but was still to heavy for you to push by yourself. Upon closer inspection, your hear noises coming from inside. With the help of Morgana and whatever was making those sounds, you might be able to move it aside

She went beside it and began pushing, beckoning for Morgana to help her. if they could work to shift the rock a bit, they can be able to communicate better with whatever was under it.

Morgana understands what you want her to do. Together, the two of you manage to shift it about an inch, revealing the entrance to a cave. Something inside lets out a strange cry, and Morgana seems more rushed to open up the cave. she sticks her horn between the wall and the rock, trying to pry it open.

Cherokee tapped her on the shoulder with a shake of her head before looking around for a stick or something they could use as a lever, tail swaying behind her.

Looking around, you see a tree on top of a cliff, it would be small enough to carry and possibly be used to pry the rock away from the cave entrance. Morgana gets your attention, motioning upwards towards another, slightly smaller rock just above the rock youre trying to push, its possible pushing the rock into this one would cause both rocks to be broken and crumble, making much easier to move rocks and get inside.
