"Because your life is in danger. She has begun to look for you and all the others like you including myself. It's my job to make sure you are all safe. Now that's all I can say, I will be bad come night fall. Then I can tell you more." With that he handed over a few coins to her. "Come then Cloud, lets see if we can round up some breakfast." He said to the wolf before walking out. A flash of color though turned his gaze. Down the alleyway, in the shadows was a blue outline. Carefully he made it appear as if he meant to go that way, walking past the boy before 'bumping' into him. "Excuse me...I didn't see you there." Truth was he hadn't save for the outline.

Bye! she yelled as he walked out with Cloud. She sat down, not sure what to think of all this. At least Cloud had a good owner now, that was what mattered most to her.

Hato looked at the man before saying, "Its ok." in a cheerful voice. "I shouldn't be sitting in the way of the alley its my fault. My what a cute little wolf you have here. Can i pet it?" He says with happily. (Note Hato is unusually kind and friendly. He opens up to people more then regular people would)

"Uh...sure?" Well that wasn't what he had expected. In the dim light though his eyes still flashed, this he pulled the hood up about his head again. "Your eyes, there much like that girls in there. Their such a strange color blue."

"Are they? I never really notice. I though it was normal to have blue eyes." Hato respond normally. "So can i pet your wolf?" He asks the man with the mood

"But they aren't a normal blue. In fact I w only ever seen eyes like that on one other creature...."

"What creatures?" Hato ask curiously

"Tymara, the dragon goddess, ruler of the waters and seas." The man answered, looking the boy in the eye. "Only her descendents have those eyes, much like only mine are passed down from Asneara. Let me cut to the chase...do to your heritage, you and many others including myself are in grave danger..."

Hato looks at the man with his blue eyes. For the first time he seems to not have the gentle aura around him. "Why should i trust you and why do you know my dead mother's name?" Hato replies and asks.

"Because I am like you." He said his eyes again flashing. "If that isn't enough then come with me to the woods, I will show you."
