"I thought I recognized a scent, but it's gone now" I say distractedly. I seem focused on some distant point again.

I slide quietly through the woods, intent on catching something to eat. I smell many Zolnixi, and decide a pack must be quite close by. Still, I need food for myself and my little sister.

Zane nodded and ran off to comb through their territory for trespassers. He soon caught scent of another zolnixi unfamiliar to him. He climbed up a tree and traveled by tree till he came to the zolnixi. He then jumped down in front of her. Who are you? He growled at the colorful, winged zolnixi he had come across.

Oh, there is.... outside of our territory! If you wish to hunt on our territory you shouldve first asked the alpha of the forest pack for his permission to hunt here. Zane growled. He mightve been overreacting a bit, as he tends to do that.

Rockfall-
Rockfall stood at the edge of the jagged rock cliff at the edge of her sleeping cave. She could sense her sister, feel her presence as she stared down the rock face towards the open forest. She was awakened frm her thoughts by Kaomi, who was sitting eagerly, waiting to be trained.
"Hey Kaomi! Ready for some training? I think we'll work on tackling larger birds, like eagles today. One of those could feed the pack for a good amount of time."
Starfall-
Starfall could tell something was awry the second she awoke. She saw Zane leave camp, and as soon as he had left, she padded up to Shadow's den. She poked her head through the opening and sighed.
"What is wrong?"
