Before the woman entered the room he dove under the bed in watch. The less people that saw him the better, it was all he could do to keep himself alive as it was, what if someone did find him? They would kill him with no doubt, he was just a thief after all. Carefully he watched the two, backing away some more as he did. Maybe he should just leave.

The boy stood in confusion "Where'd he go?" he asked. The women shrugged "He probably went to home" she said "I suggest we do the same before it gets dark, you how it is nowadays" The women held the boy's hand as the walked. She wandered about what Alan may have gotten himself into when he went 'exploring'. She shrugged it off; whatever it was, it didn't have an evil heart since he didn't want to hurt or threat a kid like Alan, and even entertain him.

He watched as the people left him. Maybe they would lead him to some food...though he would have to stay out of sight. Slinking out for under the bed he silently followed, his black fur blending with the shadows as he darted between them.

When they arrived to a cabin who'd both the boy and the women recognize as home, the boy settled near the fireplace while the girl went in the kitchen to prepare them a meal. "You should be more careful, you know" she said "You could have gotten yourself hurt. I had no idea where you were, I was so worried." Alan felt guilty. He was only wanted see more of the world, seeing and discovering new things had always gave him a thrill. "I'm sorry Elaine" he apologized "I just wanted to explore" "I know but there are dangerous things out there. Especially nowadays-" Elaine paused. Because of the new ruler she wanted to say but she wasn't sure if anyone would be listening. Hadn't her parents been executed due to overhearing, she wouldn't be so paranoid.

Great...a door. Raising to his full height he reached for the doorknob though still fell short. Now what? Huffing he quickly scaled the side of the house, much like a cat would. Once there he found a away into the chimney, sliding down it until he was close to the bottom. It was there that he carefully looked around the room before completely falling down. "Hey kid."

"That's brilliant" Silver replied "Which reminds me, how are we doing on food for the troops?"
