Cherokee did not reply, but looked down at it. Hardships had to be overcome, not frowned upon. They were just part of the path. He wondered why he was on youth caring duty. He was a knight apprentice. Kai wasnt doing much, just chatting. He stiffled a sigh. It was all learning experience, after all.

Cherokee
It is better to learn respect, intelligence plays key in battle. he said quietly, he didnt use his voice often, prefering to listen and learn his enemies tactics instead of making alliances.

Delinqua
She began padding up a thin mountain path that spiraled upwards, knowing it was a knights hunting trail but suspecting what she sought for would be higher up. She wasnt only keeping an eye out for lambs ear, but a herbal remedy from her youthhood in the twolegplace. She doubted she would find it here, but it was worth a chance. She ruffled up her black fur, the chains and gems chingling as she made her way up. She suspected any prey wouldve ran from the noise.

Finch

Finch sighed sadly, his tail wrapping around his legs. "Okay. I just want to be more prepared for apprenticeship than any other youth."

He whispered quietly to himself "So this tribe can't get rid of me the way my mother wanted to."

Cherokee

He did not reply, but clawed the moss into three pieces. He pushed one towards Finch and dragged two towards himself. He then pushed one slightly to the left and looked at Finch, sitting down and curling his tail around his paws. He wondered how long it would take the youth to pick up this was battle tactics lesson.

Cherokee still did not talk. He did not see it necessary. Lifting a paw, he pushed his other piece of moss forward. He made a motion for Finch to move his piece.

Finch

Finch stared at the pieces of moss for a moment before moving his piece to the right.
