Salem sat at his favorite bench, in the park a walk away from his house. He loved coming here, it's a good quiet place to think and still enjoy a sunny day, much better than his office. That isn't to say the park was completely ignored by people, there are joggers, parents with young children or babies, and people taking a shortcut through the park on their way to someplace else. He'd been sitting here for a couple hours, just thinking and enjoying the free time he's allowed so rarely.



(Sorry for the wait, I always find it difficult to start. I promise he's get more interesting later XD)

Diana held the edges of her clothes. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She had trouble dealing with her powers at times. She looked around and she sighed. She was watching the park carefully and she had her suit on hidden under her coat. She opened her eyes and bent down. She kept watching the park.

Salem glanced around him, he noticed nothing spectacularly different jumping out at him, yet he felt as if something was off. It could be his imagination, but for some reason that thought didn't seem right. He knew now his perfect day at the park was no more, whether something was really off or not, so he got up and made his way to a park exit opposite of his home.

Lauren stood on the bridge near the lake that was near the park. Her pale hair fluttered in the breeze and she gripped the railing of the bridge. Looking down to see her reflection in the undisturbed water, she bent over. Her hand phased through the railing and she stumbled, the wood having been almost like liquid to her seconds ago.

Diana sighed and walked out. She hoped no one noticed her. She had her coat covering her suit. She knew something was bound to happen and she would be ready for whatever happened. She wasn't really fearful of many things. She just did what she had to.

Salem walked to the lake that was near the park, perhaps observing the calm waters would somehow help him shake his feeling something wasn't quite right. He noticed a girl standing on the bridge on the other side of the lake looked shaken about something, he looked around but saw no obvious signs of why she would be distressed. She could just be having a bad day, he thought, although the feeling that he's had since he left the park made him think otherwise.

Lauren shook her hands, checking them for any possible injury. Her power unsettled her a bit, even now after a few months of having discovered it. She straightened her back as she stood completely, her pale face slightly pink from the breeze that was hitting it. She began to walk, still unaware of the man.

Salem sighed, knowing that he was about to be something he has always tried to avoid, an idiot. He followed her from a distance, he wants to make sure she was okay not get mistaken for a stalker. He isn't sure why he's doing any of this, sure he liked to follow his instincts but this was ridiculous. Following a stranger because he's got a 'bad feeling', who does that? Me apparently, his mind supplied.

She caught whiff of something and walked along carefully. She kept quiet. Diana saw two people with one following the other and she thought... Why not follow them. She kept out of sight and got up high. She followed with speed until she caught up with them. She kept a hold of her coat but her suit showed.
