The Mysterious Eggling looks like this in the inventory, but it's just a placeholder image.
The name of the image itself is actually " container_windchaser_luffox " which is from the Windchaser Luffox restricted set, so it doesn't exactly mean much about the pet itself.
The lost eggling's theme colors could be anything *shrugs*

As for what the item says...
