He watched her leave before looking down at his clothes. They clearly didn't fit in her but he had no money to buy anything else. She seemed nice enough though which was good. Sighing he made his way outside and into the alleyway near the school. During the week he was going to stay here, in a box he found with one of the blankets he had made. Now he settled into the box making sure that it was all neat and tidy while he waited for the dance to start. Tomorrow marked a new day, he would start school and a job that night. He would have money for food atleast then!

(Hal's new, and the student council reps know almost everyone at the school, so I guess. The three girls have been friends for years though)
