It seemingly too forever to drag himself from the water, the tree like structures he had for arms were great above water but when wet they were nearly useless. Coughing the horned figure pulled himself slowly from the rising water, desperately holding onto like. The floods back home had gotten out of control...when he went to escape the rising water it only ended up getting him into even more trouble. Now about a day later he washed ashore bruised and tired beyond belief. All he wanted was sleep, or just someplace to warm up. This place was different from home...there wasn't many trees here and the ground was made of sand.... This frightened him, if he wasn't home then where?! In disbelief he let out a near elkish noise as he tried to force himself to get to his feet. He was too tired, his legs refused to work correctly. Jersey sat there along the bank helplessly lost and confused.

"Hmmm... where on earth are all those PESTS.... The swamphounds clearly showed that they were here..."

The voice was deep and inhuman, resonating inside everyone's heads and making ears pop.

Not used to such cold, after all, her species lived at the floor of the ocean around thermal vents, she couldn't take this for much longer.
