Brea held Zorua closer, wondering if the girl was anything like the one earlier. "Yeah," she said, eyeing the girl warily. "Zorua does the same. It's very... specific about what interests it. Most of what it considers 'fun' is not staying at home." She clutched the ball of fur tighter. "What's your name? And why are there so may people out? It's, like, just the break of dawn."

Zorua blinked, it's blue eyes opening and fixing their gaze on Noelle. Brea loosened her grip of the squirming pokemon as it put it's paws over her arms in a more comfortable position.
"Brea Walker," she introduced, holding out her hand. "Nice to meet you and Oshawott. This is Zorua." She held up the stern-looking pokemon.
"Zo-Rua!" It chirped, obviously displeased by the fact that the girl from earlier had run off right after attacking it.

Brea laughed, smiling at Noelle and her Oshawott. "We were kind of attacked earlier, you see. A girl we ran into on the street ran away after following us. When we caught up with her, she told her Solosis to do 'something' other than a specific move. Not knowing what would happen, I never had time to help Zorua counter-attack or dodge. It was an unfair fight, against what I was taught."
She sighed. "I guess I have to get used to it, though. But Zorua and I have a strong bond." Brea glanced around, seeing a few people down the street emerging from their homes. "Oh, no, gotta run! Don't. Wanna. Be. Seen!" She looked around wildly before sprinting off in the direction they were traveling in.

Brea stopped after she got far enough down the road that no one from the city would see her. Then she yelled back at them. "Are you coming or not?"

Brea leaned against a tree, whistling and trying to seem casual. "I might have been running away from home." She stood up again, turning away. "Maybe."
Zorua gave Noelle a nod. "Zorua!" It defended.
She snuck look at Noelle before looking the other way. "Don't tell anyone."
