Yeah, but I'm not sure if my writing's up to snuff. I'll try though!

The boy searched through the moonlight forest, hand at the short dagger hanging at his side. All three moons of Avila were shining bright, a sign that Caedes, the Elder Ancheint of Avila would be in the mortal world, awaiting the tribute that was to be sacrificed every year at the Shining Moons Ceremony.
The boy reaching to grab the bow across his back, his trembling hands bringing back the bowstring. The door that came into Caedes's castle loomed above him, and he shakely inserted the bone key into the lock.
The door slowly creaked open, and the boy screamed in horror at the thing sitting on a throne made of bones and skulls, her two rat tails twining slowly.
"I sssee you are my newesst tribute. I wasss getting hungry for a little... sssnack. Caedus hissed, her sharp, bloodstained teeth glinting in the moonlight from a hole in the ceiling. She crawled from her throne up to the boy, paralyzed in fear. In a sudden movement, Caedus leaped, her fangs sunk deep into the boys arm. He screamed in pain, and tried to struggle away, but Caedus held on. With a sharp yank, the boys arm tore off, and he fell to the floor, gasping in pain. Then Caedus moved again, and the sharp teeth sunk poison directly above the boys fast beating heart. The poison was not meant to kill, but to immobilize. The boy froze, a look of fear on his face. His eyes darted around in fear, as Caedus swallowed him whole. She sat back, as she felt the boys heart thumping alongside hers.
"Yesss... Feel fear!" She hissed, and the boys heart thumped harder. Then, slowly, it let out a last beat, and faded.
"Now I must wait for my next little snack... Jussst a while." And with that, Caedus sat back on her throne.
