Since I am currently not allowed outside due to extreme weather, i'm starting the Prologue!

Moondance stared at the vast, open sky, the southern winds blowing against her dark purple and black fur. Her jade emerald eyes gazed as the sun slowly set, saying goodnight and kissing the rising stars and clouds. She knew that at this time, the Sylestis that roamed during the daytime were curling up and falling asleep until the early hours of morning.

Now it was time for the children of the night to play.

Moondance leaped off the rocky cliff she had slept on, falling down, down, down into the river below. She felt the familiar feel of the cold, slimy water against her skin. She was playing in the river water when she heard the snap of a branch. Immediately, she leaped out of the water onto the dusty ground, teeth bared and claws extended. She glared at the intruder with her green eyes.

Piercing blue eyes stared back.

It was a Ryori with pure black, smooth fur, and a dark red celestial mane. As he stared at her, she felt this sudden... calmness. Like she had known him forever. It took her a minute to realize this feeling, but she was shocked when she realized what it was.

Love.

'No!',She thought,'No! Hybrid breeding is against all Sylesti law! I CAN'T love him! I don't even know him!'

She continued to doubt what her heart said, but he knew that they were meant to be; the Fates had wrapped their threads of life together at that very moment, that they were destined for each other.

Finally, he spoke, his deep voice overwhelming Moondance's senses into the one warm feeling they now shared.

"My name is Velunce."

He walked towards her, every step he took shaking all of Sylestia, both knowing that this was a forbidden love, but it was their destiny.
