Here is my short story:
The baby Zolnixi's egg sat, glowing in the full moons glow. The tall rowan trees that towered aroung let the sparkling shafts of moonlight into the dew-frosted clearing. The young Sylestia's mother had been slain by the Nightfall Bandits, and lay, half hidden behind a nearby tree.
Footsteps echoed through the trees, and a teenaged girl broke through the trees. She was wearing green robes and held a bow in her hand. The sylesti next to her was a aquamarine-colored Sylvorpa with swirling lights around her. Her eyes darted to the dead mother Zolnixi, then to the egg sitting in the clearing. It was beginning to shake and crack, and the girl sat down to watch.
The silver and blue egg broke open, and light cascaded through the forest. A young female Zolnixi was laying there, the Starlight Runes showing light to the shadows in the forest.
"I think I'll call you Twilight." said the girl, with a smile on her face.
