She looked back at him and nodded, strange guess jumpy is better than ready to brawl.. she thought before responding " The sea is my Home, I actually came to seek company and help, a one hand crew isnt worth much, and makes the traveling lonesome." she said boldly as if it did not bother hear but clearly it did.

Hazel did not turn to face them but flattened her ears before she spoke, " Not exactly, but kind of.... I'm more of an Adventurer, but being called a Pirate doesn't bother me much as I was once part of a pirate crew." She said Turning to face them now and giving a warm smile to the pair.

Hazel chuckled at the Pup like spirit of the nixi " Yes, but there are too many to tell all at once" she said Jokingly before trying to decide which one to entertain him with. " Well a few years ago when I was still swabbing decks for The Captain of Ice Fang we were attacked by another Band of Pirates..." She paused to gauge his interest in the story before continuing, unsure if he would like the ending.

" We were greatly out numbered, and many of the crew were ill and unable to move much at all.... but we still fought a good fight, unfortunately we lost and me and a couple of my mates were taken captive as a bounty for later, we sailed for many days and nights until we reached the nearest trading port and were finally brought above deck. I was to be auctioned off like any other good on the ship." she paused the memory playing back in her mind " my comrades were not a lucky and were sent to be hanged immediately. I was sold to a wealthy Tailor who was quite kind and instead of keeping me as a slave or extra hand he allowed me to go free under one condition... I needed to come here " She said finishing her short story

Hazel tilted her head a bit confused " why?" she asked sitting down. It frightened her a bit to think she could never set foot on the seas again, but if that's how it was she was just going to have to solve this mystery.
