Amber was slowed down.

A mouth full of seeds and such Chip made his way back to his home and filled it more. "A few more trips and I should be good." He sighed climbing back down and hopping back towards the feeder. Again filling his cheeks he made his way to a second feeder. Something wasn't right though. It was too quite...a hot breath on his back warned him of the dog before he saw it. His feet had never moved so fast as he rushed to get away from the animal. It grabbed his tail slinging him about. He squeaked before biting into the dogs ear making it let go. He scampered away the middle of his tail bald from having been grabbed but at least he was alive.

Amber squeaked as she saw a dog but then blew fire at the dog burning it's behind.

Too close, way too close! Chip scurried back to his home and dove into the leaves where it was safe. Safe...it felt nice to be safe for once even if his tail was bald in spots now. He settled into the leaves, the things crunching as he did. Maybe he would go out tomorrow and get more bedding, away from the threat of a dog.
