The male laughed. "Really?" Ase swatted his face playfully and dashed across the den from him. "Oh so you want to play that game do you?!" He barked chasing her until he tackled her. "Got you!" He barked happily.
"So you did." Ase smiled licking his face. The storm was getting closer. "I'm ready..." She said simply.
"Ready? For what love?"
"For children, we have waited long enough. We have plenty of food and such so why not try for one now." Marcurio stood shaking the dirt from his body.
"Are you sure?"
"Position."
"Let me go ask Genesis.." With the the male nixi spread his leaf like wings and dashed from the den finding the alpha. "Alpha! I have a request to ask you."

Genesis nodded.

"What is it? Better not be too bad."

Genesis blinked and shook his head, the raindrops, falling.

"Ruby, wait. I need to talk to Ase."

Ruby nodded.

She nodded "Shame that the stars wont be out tonight"

"Ase? Why do you need to speak with her?" The male asked changing the subject

Genesis quirkily looked at Ase. "What?"

The male looked to see Ase had followed him. "Sir we were wondering if you would let us, me and Marcurio have a child. I know that food is limited but we can just hunt more for our family after we feed the others."

He dipped his head. Genesis sighed. "Yes, you can. While you will be laying the eggs, I believe that the nursery is a bit crowded. Marcurio might not be welcome there. But she can. You will have the responsibility."
