"You seem rather happy today, what crazy idea do you have today?" Are asked with a kind smile as she handed him his plate. Each plate held a strip of rabbit meat from the night before, and two bird eggs which still looked rather raw.

Anton took the plate with a nod of thanks. "Oh I don't know. Fighting a dragon, finding a mountain of buried gold, the usual," he said, waving a hand dismissively as he began to eat. Then he became serious. "But actually, I'm just glad to leave," he said, shrugging.

"We both are. It's time we moved on to someplace new." Ase said looking down at her plate and wrapping her tail around her legs. "I'm glade your coming with me, it would suck to go on alone."

Anton finished his food, and set the plate aside with his right hand, staring at the fire. He subconsciously inched back from it before turning to look back at Ase, refusing to turn his back to the fire. "Yeah, it would, wouldn't it? I'm too wimpy to go alone," he said. He looked down at his left hand and yanked his glove further up his wrist when he realized a few angry red marks were visible on his wrist. "Besides, I really suck at cooking!" he said, grinning at Ase.

" well I'm not much better at cooking myself." Ask said finishing her food and putting the fire out. "Ready? We can just leave what we don't want to carry, it would just slow us down anyways." She sighed and rolled up her bed roll strapping it to her pack. "Maybe we can find at own along the way, it would be nice to have a good meal for lunch." The ground suddenly shook and a nasty sounding roar came from the outside of the little shack. "Um...that doesn't sound too good."

"No, it really doesn't," Anton said, standing up and drawing his rapier with his right hand. "Shall we fight or flee?" he asked. "I vote fight," he said with a grin as he dashed to the window to see what the threat was. "I don't see anything. Although I seriously doubt that the wind is what's moving those trees," he said.

"Let's see what it is first then decide whether we wish to take it on or not." Ase said drawing her orkish war axe. Her left hand glowed as she willed magic to bid her again like she did in most battles. The roar grew as the ground shook again this time closer to them. A nasty burned smell filled the air as the what ever was on the other side of the door krept closer to their hiding spot. "Holy...Anton are you seeing this? That's a dragon!"

"What the hel- When I said I was planning to fight a dragon today, I was joking!" Anton exclaimed, crouching into a fighting position as he adjusted his grip on his rapier. His eyes were fixed on the huge beast as its scales reflected the early sunlight, and its huge tail lashed at the ground. "Are you up to fighting this thing?" Anton asked.

Ase gave him a faint smile. "Well there's no harm in at least trying." She whispered as she krept to the door. The wooden door stood no chance as the dragon beat it in with is snout. Ase gave a battle cry as she smacked the dragon on the nose causing blood to splatter on the wall. "To victory or defeat!" She shouted.

Anton leapt up, darting out the door, with a harsh shout for a battle cry. His rapier wasn't the best weapon to use to fight a dragon, but it was an easy weapon to use with one hand. He used his back foot to lunge forward at the dragon, shoving the tip of the sword under a scale around its knee, driving the blade deep into the unprotected skin beneath. He removed the sword and leapt away before the dragon could turn on him. Blood dripped from the tip of his sword as he searched the dragon for a weak point, or an attack pattern.
