It's cries were nearly saddening as the poor thing fought to try and escape from them. "It can't fly now, I leave it and it dies. I kill it and it dies. Either way it's going to die." She said looking at the struggling bird. "I could take it with us, maybe it could prove useful." She suggested looking down at the bird. "But on second thought I'm going to leave it." She walked past the bird following Kuro. "Oh it's not an animal animal, but a person."

Kuro looked at the helpless bird and sighs "it might belong to someone, and you could pay a price for killing it" she says then walks down the road while looking at the stars 'might ask her' "have you heard the a mythical being called werewolves, they are seen sometimes seen and normally kill livestock, and the farmers think it was a bear or cougar" she says then thinks of her family in Turkil "a few relatives of mine had that problem she says" she chuckles then thinks 'well THEY were the problem since they turned and killed there own live stock' she thinks then thinking she was with her family she rolled her eyes

"Did you know the only way to kill the only way to kill them is with a blade or arrow of silver? That's why all my weapons are silver based, you can never be too careful." Maggie twitched her tail slightly, her ears rotating around. "Hopefully this is just a normal human, I don't like killing humanoids like me."

The tree cracked as he climbed down from it. Rafe walked along the road picking Shade up and placing her inside his hood to keep her safe. He crept into the shadows following the girls.

"Yeah, that's neat" she says then looks at the sword and shudders a bit. she see's two shadows and it turns to be guards of Broken Star with the all too familiar symbol of a white star outline with a black bigger star with the joints broken. "stop. you cannot cross the border unless you have a contract of work or the gold to pay" the first said and they looked serious. Kuro looked at Maggie and gulped 'i hope she has the contract' she thinks

"Here you go." Maggie said holding a paper up for them to see. "We have a job offering at a farm in this town, the old farmer wants two young people to help him pick his crop." She lied. "He sent word to us and now here we are. So can you please let us through?"

Amethyst walked around, seeing the two and walked up. "Kuro, what is going on? And who is this?" She held a stern look with her friend, worried she was getting tricked. She then looked at Maggie, glaring at her. She suspected something was up.

Kuro looked at Amethyst and said "this is a friend, and we got a job to do, you can join us" Kuro says then see's the guards pass by

"I suppose I could help, just don't expect me to take a liking to her quickly. You know how I am about new people."

"ok, but we are going to get paid for killing an animal that's been terrorizing a farm" she says then looks ahead and see's the sun begin to rise with the land brightening up

Her eyes light up. Violence was pratically her hobby. "Ooh! Can I throw knives at it?!"
