"You ok?" Asked Gabriel. "Something against guys?"

"You're the one that's gonna need to keep up." He said with a smirk, "and can I have my shoe back?"

Alhen looked back a Gabriel. "You have no idea." At least someone almost got it. It had all started when she was just a baby, when the father at the church left her out in the cold too long. After that she never trusted them, which was the smartest thing she had ever done. More than once down her line had men failed to protect her, failed to show, tried to use her for their own pleasure and everytime it ended up the same with them laying on the ground gasping over a broken nose. "I'm just a bit annoyed that it's taking us so long to get out of the city. I want to get moving before the Templars even get a chance to find the Piece."

"Is that so? And who are you exactly?" Shadir said taking the shoe from Mizar. "Here you go." He handed it back to the new comer. Mizar growled and took his masters shoe before trotting ahead of them. "Morkkos they have their own style of life." He smiled a shook his head before catching up with the the girls. "Hey how about a race? That will get us there quickly, get our energy up and it will be fun."

"Someone must have hurt you a lot for you not to trust our brothers." She said. She had always stusted everyone in the creed, well she HAD. She still trust most of them through. Just because there were a few bad apples in a place centered around killing people, doesn't mean that everyone was bad.

"Haven't I introduced myself? Name's Seth Angel, Assassin 6th class (i think). This is Adem and Eve. They're twins." The two baby ryoris made whatever noise they would.

"I'm up for a race," said Violet, "but what I get when i win?"

"It's just as the creed states. Nothing is true. There are some that I trust but that because I have known them longer then others. I just don't like men, well most of them. They tend to be a bit stupid when they get around women." Alhena looked back at the boys. "What ever gets you guys moving is fine by me. At the rate we are going we will get shot down by the guards before we get out of sight of the castle." She growled the words as some of her memories came back slowly. He had hurt her during the nights. He came into her room just to do so to watch her cry as he hit her and cut her. Then she cut him back only he had no time to cry out as the knife cut his throat drowning him in his own life source. He was the reason she never trusted anyone. He was so good at putting on a show for church growers only to turn around and sin. At least he would never do it to anyone else.

"You get to make the first assassination and you can carry The Piece home." Shadir said he glared at Alhena as she said her statement. "Excuse me for trying to see whom was following us." Mizar cocked his head to the side at his masters angry tone. The boot hung from his mouth as he chewed on it causing saliva to soak through the leather. "So who's with me on the race?"

"Then it's settled." Shadir stopped his horse. "On your marks, get set, go!" His horse stumbled to a gallope. It wasn't the fastest horse not in the least but it would work. Mizar growled as he tried to keep up, though running was not is strong suit either.

Alhena was already ahead. Camel was a light and lean horse built for running, though he was a bit of a show off and wanted to do every jump he came to. Claradon dug his claws into the saddle as a desperate attempt to hold on. 'I'd like to see them try and beat me' for once the girl smiled before it faded away as well as the dust they were leaving.

Seth's horse Midnight was build for both speed and endurance. He took the lead, hooves thundering like the blackest storm.

Castiel, Gabriel purched lightly on his back, ran after the others he was not the fastests or most enduring horse.

Violet and her horse were doing their best but they couldn't keep up with he faster horses.

The new comer had passed them, all because this damn horse was doing all of these stupid tricks. Alhena pulled Camel back onto the road where he caught up with the other horse. "Come on come on!" She incourages though the horse tried no harder to go faster but only nipped at the horse next to him. Claradon yowled as he slipped down some and held onto Alhena's legs with his sharp claws.

Shadir kept pace with Violet to keep her company. "So how's has your day been so far?" He asked trying to make small talk. Mizar roared his displeasure as they continued to run, the boot he held now soaked through with saliva.

Violet smiled, "I've had worse, in all this has been a better day."

Seth pushed Midnight to go faster. Ahead there was a trun in the road around a fence. Rather then turn he slowed and jumped into the paddock. Their jump was perfect, even the most experienced rider couldn't beat it, nor could the most grouchy mentor fault it.

Shadir smiled lightly. "That's good at least it's always nice when your day is good." He petted Canis who growled at the man for disturbing his sleep. "I'm glade to see that we ended up with the slowest horses instead of someone in a great hurry."

Alhena growled. Camel turned around the paddock with sloppy grace before he quickened his pace and caught the horse again. They needed a plan to beat the equally if not faster horse. Then she saw it. There to the side of the trail was an out crop just wide enough for a singnal horse to pass over. She steered Camel to the side and onto the trail which lead up and over the others. This tail was almost straight and gave a birds eye view.
