That's awesome! My school only offers French and Spanish... :/ Luckily it has a lot of art classes, though. As for the injury, she got blown by a strong wind and lost control of her flight pattern, causing her to fall to the ground. On her way down her left wing hit the edge of a decorative stone wall and broke. When it healed, the new mass on the bones made it impossible for her to flap her wings enough for extended flight.
I don't know if that's really possible for birds, but I know that when ones heal they do get a little bit bulkier.

Kazumi Kirin
When Kazumi was 4 her mother died and for this reason she cares more about sylestis than people. She now lives with her father in a small village helping with her fathers forgery, she can be very stubborn at times but has a big heart for pets! She spends most of her time exploring and sometimes getting herself into trouble. But she is handy in a fight, with her wrench ( Given to her by her father, who is an engineer) And her sylestis, She is ready to start exploring!
Kaia
Kaia is a Ryori that was given to Kazumi by her mother just before she died, Kaia is the daughter of Kazumis moms Ryori, Laiya. The jewel on Kaias chest allows her to use Telekinesis, but she is still learning to use it. Kaia is strong at heart and will do anything to protect Kazumi.
Annikki
Annikki is a Nephini that Kazumi found while exploring, she was hurt and grey but when Kazumi helped her she turned vibrant blue! When she is hurt she is basically Powerless, but when she turnes Vibrant blue she can destroy like nobodys business. Kazumi mostly has her as a pet since Kaia does most of the hard work, but she is always trying to prove that she can be strong!
