Oakenclaw
Stormclaw keeps up a brisk trot as she talks. "Our territory starts here," she says to the kit. They had just entered the forest. Stormclaw sniffs along the trees to make sure they wouldn't veer off into another clan's territory. Once she is sure she was on track, she speeds up a bit.

Cloverclan
Stormpaw picks up his pace, slowing down only once they reach the treeline. He sniffs around for the hint of prey scent.

Marshclan
Pinefur pauses and turns to face the kit. He wouldn't sugar coat it. "It looks bad right now. Worse than I've seen the clan in my life. But we might make it if we can hold out through next cold leaf," Pinefur says.

Oakenclan

Cloudpaw purrs as she sniffs around the territory. "This place is nice, I can't believe I've never been here before!" She bounds up to the she cat. "How many cats are in your clan?"

Cloverclan

Tribalpaw freezes. "Fox.." He hisses sniffing the air. "Be careful."

Marshclan

Mosspaw sighs. "We need more cats....think we should ask Riverstar?"

Oakenclan
"Too few. That's why I was out at the twoleg place. To find more cats for our clan. It was a harsh cold leaf," Stormclaw says, shaking her head. She hopes this kit will join their clan. She seems eager at least.

Cloverclan
Stormpaw freezes too. "You think we should see if it's still in the territory? Or should we get a warrior?" He sniffs the air.

Marshclan
"About getting more cats?" Pinefur says. He heads towards the border they share with the Cloverclan, hoping to find some of the herbs that prefer dry ground to the usual muddy Marshclan territory.

Oakenclan

Cloudpaw purrs louder. "Well I'm sure you'll find at lest one or two soon." She hints. "Is there like a leader of your clan? Are they nice?"

Cloverclan

Tribalpaw feels his neck fur raise. "What warrior is there to get?" He hisses

Marshclan

Mosspaw nods. "Yes about more cats.

Oakenclan
"Yes, and yes. Our leader is very nice and wise," Stormclaw said. They finally reach the center of the clan, and Stormclaw leads the kit towards the leader. "What's your name?" she asks the kit, pausing to hear her answer.

Cloverclan
"Good point," Stormpaw replies, his hackles raise.

Marshclan
"I don't know how much we could do about that," Pinefur says. It was dangerous to leave the territory to look for other cats. Plus he would be leaving the clan practically undefended.

Oakenclan

Cloudedstar could hear the two talking this he limps out of the den into the open. "Stormclaw who is this?" The tom asks hopeful that this kit would be in their clan.

Cloudpaw purrs. "I don't have a name, or atleast not a good one." (I'm going to change her name since it's so much like Cloudedstars)

Cloverclan

Tribalpaw creeps forward not sure where the fox was but if there was a fox around that meant there was prey to be caught. He soon catches the trail of a rat, the sent making his mouth water.

Marshclan

"There's always the hope that the queens will have healthy kits then." The apprentice sighs. Mosspaws tail flicks in disappointment

Oakenclan
Stormclaw turns to Cloudedstar. "I ran into her near the two-leg den. She's a stray, and seems interested in joining the clan. We could fix your name problem if you did," she says, directing the last line toward the kit.

Cloverclan
Stormpaw creeps up parallel to Tribalpaw, but a few feet to his right. He too catches the sent of rat, and licks his lips hungrily. He slunk through the bushes, trying to decipher where both the fox and the rat were. He froze, waiting for Tribalpaw to catch up.

Marshclan
"Yes, there is," Pinefur said, freezing suddenly. He sniffed the air. "Fox," he hissed. The scent was stale, but the fox had obviously been here semi-recently.

Oakenclan

The kit jumps with joy. "I would love to join! I can't wait to get a name!" She meows purring loudly.

Cloudedstar sits down again weak from the lack of food. This kit looked strong and willing to help. "Then it's settled. You will revive your name at the next gathering, which for your luck happens to be tonight. I'll see you both then." The tom stands limping away.

Cloverclan

Tribalpaw catches up quickly. "Did you hear the big news?" He asks the tom

Marshclan

Mosspaw freezes. "Do you smell the fox too?" He asks growling.

Oakenclan
"Cloudedstar!" Stormclaw calls after her leader. "Do you want something from the prey pile?" she asked, hoping the tom would eat something.

Cloverclan
"What?" Stormpaw asks, wondering why Tribalpaw is telling him news when there is a fox so close.

Marshclan
"Yes, but it's not here anymore," Pinefur said, cautiously following the scent, wanting to know if the fox had turned to head toward the camp.

Oakenclan

Cloudedstars looks back at the warrior. "Has everyone else eaten?" He asks thinking of Snowfur, and her new kit. He was happy that he had at least one living decent but still sad that she had to go through motherhood in such a bad time of year. "I want everyone to eat first then I will eat."

The kit was excited, her purrs could be heard from ten feet away. "I can't wait to get my name!"

Cloverclan

Tribalpaw was trying to hide his fear with the news. "Dullstar is expecting kits, yet no one knows who her mate is. I over heard her speaking with one of the others."

Marshclan

Moss law swallows his fear. "You think it went back to the camp?"
