Okay, just wanted to do a quick update!
I've discovered that using pets with excess genes is just driving me nuts, i'm more comfortable with the slow-but-comprehensible essence route, so i'm going to stop using them for this project. However, i'll still count them as donated and stuff so no worries about that!
otherwise, it's going pretty well, i'm mostly in need of dyes and such as of right now.

Thanks for the update! I have quite a few lesser dyes and a huge fistful of scales - so if you need, you're welcome to take them off my hands.
