"No, I don't. Which is why I flew in the first place." He replies, accidentally taking out another tree. "You have no idea how painful smashing your wings into trees is." He tucks his wings in as far as he can but still end up clipping a tree with one, which produces a small snarl.

Pulling her body into it self Nixi bends her knees to wrap her arms around her legs and rock on her heels. Looking up at the massive beast from this much lower spot gives her already wide eyes and gaunt face an extremely distorted look added a creepy horror look to her elven features. "I could, just bring fish back to you?"

Her fingers spin the small band on her upper arm as she thinks of ways around this giant and his tree issue. "That way you can just stay there and not take out any more trees...." "Or- I don't know. Why are you so big in the first place?" Heaving a large sigh Nixi sinks lower until she's sitting on the ground until she looks like nothing but a lump of limps and a tangle of inky, damp hair.

Nyzaennath lays down in front of her, his face directly in front of her curled up form and grins. "If you think I'm big just wait until you see Hakunath." He jokes, his face takes on a more serious expression before he continues "You're not an elf, are you Nightswimmer?"

Victoria sits down beside Yuri "Oh you know, picking fights with dragons, the usual." She smirks. "Toothy was picking on one of the students again." She dives into her meal, the food stuffed in her cheeks not stopping her from continuing to speak. "Hey, have you guys ever heard of a girl called Oceanmist, small, black hair, big eyes?"

Tessa admires the pin for a few seconds longer. "Hm, I guess I'll have to look into this rare metal." She gazes up at the bookshelves surrounding her. "Oh, and Victoria. I think she went off to lunch, good thing too, means it's actually quiet for a change." She teases, softly smiling.

Nixi locks eyes with the beast, hardly blinking as she watches him carefully. Her face remains blank at the question but the gears in her mind spin wildly out of control. This was never a good question. Ever. Half breeds didn't meet good fates when outed to the wrong type of being and with how easily this beast seemed ready to eat her before Nixi didn't think now was a good time to challenge fate. "Of course I am. Why would you think not?" It wasn't fully a lie, which made it easier to push her own belief into the words making it seem that much more natural.

Untangling her body slightly Nixi sat so her legs fell on either side of her body and her kneeds touched before her keeping what little was covered by her skirt, covered. Her almost too thin stomach exposed as her fingers tangled and untangled around the straps of her shoes.

(Because I put my character in a dumb spot, I'm going to move her to somewhere busy.)

Canary looked around the room, and realized she was hungry. She went off to the Cafeteria. Everyone seemed to already have friends and know each other. She sighed a bit and went to get food. (Or whatever.)

(Awe. You don't pick a dumb spot, there just isn't a lot of people on here yet, and out of those who are here not everyone is active yet. The person who's suppose to be my room mate hasn't even posted. So don't feel bad. But I think moving is a great idea to get your self in on some of the current action. We will all settle into a flow soon enough. :). )

She is obviously insecure with her heritage, Nyzaennath thinks to himself, no, don't feel sorry for her, don't feel sorry for her, gah, too late. He sighs, staring deep into Nixi's eyes, all hostility gone from his gaze. "It is very hard to lie to a dragon little Pest." He gives a soft, friendly smile, or at least, as friendly as he could make it with a mouthful of dagger-like fangs. "And you are not the only one, Victoria, for example." He licks lips. "Now, I am famished. How about we go catch us some fish?" He leans down, stretching out his left foreleg to give her an easy way up onto his back. "Climb on, I promise I won't go very high."

Her wide eyes narrowed slightly as she watches him show off his mouth full of teeth. "What would I gain from lying to you, Beast?" But there was little to no threat in her words like there was in the others eyes and Nixi found comfort in this moment.

Shifting her weight to her knees the smaller being of the two let out a short sigh. "Told you, I don't know the way up there...But I guess we have no other choice do we?"
Standing up to her full height Nixi moved closer to the Dragon.
