When the can cluttered to the floor, Joshua was already at his partners side, a growl emitting from his throat. It was instinct that made him want to attack, but the other entity in his mind held him in place. Where the human had wanted to pounce, machine had wanted to analyse.
Defect. Relax a little.Theres nothing to worry aboutyet. He was reluctant, but Joshua knew his helper's advice was worth trusting. And so, the boy made his way back to his original seat, gesturing for his partner to return to his painting. With a small wave and a cocky smile, he turned to the intruders.
Oh hi there. Thought you were perfects or something like that... Guess I was wrong~ The same flippant attitude he had toward Neku was present once again, but, wasnt that just how he always was? So, what are you doing here, kid? Not many find this place.

It was almost natural, to be at the back of your mind and while knowing everything you were doing, had no control or say in it. Their RAHs had taken over again, and perhaps that was for the best. They were always more alert than their humans, and their control over their bodies were flawless.
"Yours?" The basket dangled off Toneri's finger, who was currently unamused with the girl's carelessness. The view was different from the original's though, who felt that instead of being so apathetic to soon-to-be crying girl, his RAH should have been just a little kinder. Indra and his RAH shared the same idea though - get rid of her.
"Be careful next time, alright?" At the very least, Toneri's RAH still listened to what he had to say, and had the courtesy to take his host's advice. Though, the aims of both were different - Toneri wished to help the girl, he was still kind. His RAH, however, just wanted her to let her guard down so he could have his turn dropping one of his kin down her throat.

" she chuckled out, remembering fondly how she used 3 frying pans and a ton of pancake mixture to not make a single, edible pancake. " Though if your willing, I will happily take you up on that offer " she finally said with a toothy grin.

Jack's glowing irises enlarged and shrank in response to the scene that quickly happened in front of him. " For your information, in a way I am a 'perfect'...though my coding is blunt with many loopholes that allow me freewill...and we are also scavenging " he bluntly replied, and almost as if hearing him, his stomach growled. Muttering a curse under his breath, Jack spoke again. " And the ignorant, little brat this body belongs to is refusing to allow me to break into a shop " he angrily hissed.
Excuse me?! I can hear you!! Jack angrily protested inside of their thoughts.
Ignoring Jack, Jack spoke again. " Though what are you doing with this human? Even for a...defect, I can only guess, this is odd... "

Syn nodded warily as the tears already began to fall. She took her basket from the male holding it and glanced inside, disappointed to see everything had fallen out on the hill. Quickly, she turned from the two and began her slow re-collection of items she had bought at the market. Gutted, she found her flour packet had burst open, spotted her two apples floating in the water at the bottom in the lake and her little amount of yeast was scattered beyond salvage. Taking out her purse, she noted it was nearly empty and barely little to re-buy everything she had lost. Trying her best to save her flour, she sat on her knees and gently scooped clumps of it into the burst packet.
Oh look at me now brother, she grumbled in her thoughts, surviving off almost nothing and having to scoop dirty flour up if I want to not go hungry...

he nods. "Follow me then." he weaves in and out of the crowd hoping she could keep up. He stops at a small house and waits.

Suki grinned at him before quickly following him, taking long strides so she didn't fall behind. Though as she followed him, she made a mental note as to check the food before eating...she still didn't trust the guy.
Soon enough, she arrived at the small house with him and she quickly glanced at the house. " Guessing this is your place? Looks cozy! " she said, grinning at him.

The boy opens the door and beckons her inside. "What do you want? I have a bit of everything." He was uncomfortable with her around but he allowed it. "I have a tv if you want to look at he channels."
He walks to the kitchen.

Curiously, she glanced into rooms she passed as she inspected his house. A bad habit of hers. Satisfied with looking around for now, she went to the kitchen to join Krisa.
