Blaze snorted, "What a naive little hatchling. Dragon territories are often large. An adult dragon needs alot of hunting grounds in order to find enough food to eat. I have already staked my claim to this mountian range, and both of you are still to young to challenge my rights here. Nor are either of you old enough to even be considered a proper mate. Not only that, but both of you are too unintelligent to attempt to challenge me. I mean you just revealed yourselves to a human in broad daylight. What do you honestly think they are going to do. Cheer for you, not likely. They are more likely to run in fear, before returning in force to destroy you. Huh if that happens you'll be lucky. Survive that and you may end up face to face with the dark king himself. Two little hatchlings like you and your puny humans would not stand a chance. You are all undeciplined, untrained, and very ill informed if this is how you treat the arrival into a human town, let alone another dragon's territory." Tyson stifled a laugh listening to Blaze's blistering reprimand through their telepathic link. It would not do for the villagers to see the local blind man laughing at seemingly nothing.

Loki huffs. "I always heard it was up to the older dragons to teach the younger ones, but I have not seen you even try to keep them out of danger." He crosses his arms.
Thrain growls. "Loki is right. If I am to learn this I must have a teacher."
Kat nods. "Brisingr needs to learn too."

Blaze snorted. "Even abandoned or orphaned hatchlings know to treat an adult with respect. First you ask to be taught not demand it. If it was twenty years ago I would have refused you entirely and sent you to some other dragons. You are lucky that there are almost no hatchlings left in the world. If I hear a polite request from the young dragonlings", She looked at them pointedly. "I may consider it on some conditions. One you do your own hunting, and when you hunt take no more than you need, food will be scarce with three mouths to feed. Two You will have your own cave, whether you hatchlings share a cave or have separate caves you will decide, but I preserve my privacy for my own reasons. Three the dragonlings are not to enter the town or allow other humans to see them. It is simply too dangerous right now. Lastly there will be nights I tell you to stay in your caves. I expect to be obeyed when I tell you to do something important."
(Yes Blaze is a rather grumpy dragon. :p)

Brisingr nods. "Yes ma'am. I have my own cave already, and I have learned to eat little meat along with fruit. Would you teach me to be a dragon? Please?" He felt shy in the wrong and quickly shut his mouth.
Thrain huffs."sure whatever."

Blaze sniffed turning her head towards Thrain. "You will learn nothing from me hatchling until you manners improve and you submit your formal request. It depends on how badly you actually want a teacher and how much you actually want to learn. I will not teach a hatchling who has no interest in it." Then ignoring him she turned to Brinsingr. "Now show me this cave of yours and I will decide if it is suitable to your needs. Every type of dragon needs different meats and minerals in their diet."

Brisingr nods. "Follow me then, that is if you will ma'am." He spreads his wings to fly.
Thrain snorts. "Fine will you please teach me?"

Blaze turned towards Thorin, "Very well young one you may join us. Today we will see about living arrangements for the both of you. Tomorrow your education begins. I suggest your humans stay with you tonight, I will explain why later. Now come let us see Brinsingr's cave and if it lives up to standards."
