with all heads turn to me i say "Fillies, Mares, Studs, and stallions please understand that we need to move as far as we can tonight as to not interfere with the feeding of the predators. I do plan to start the breeding season tomorrow starting with volunteers first then going from oldest to youngest. any stud or stallion interested please talk to me in advance so that i can add you to the list. thank you for your time and if you would begin to move to the new meadow."

After Ash was done specking, Sealgaire came up to him.
"Um, I'm sorry, but, what are we Volunteering for? Moving the herd or helping in breeding season." he blushed and looked away, ashamed he didn't understand his leader.
Great! Now I blew it! He's gonna kick me out or give me a low job! He tried to hide his fear and looked at his leader in the face again. " And I was wondering if I could volunteer." He said.

"With the breeding. You should be the only stallion in the herd so I thank you. Tell me are you new to this breeding thing?" awkward again. "I hate this season. You know what I mean? U am too young for all of this, and u could care less to tell the truth."

"Um, yes. I-I mean, I have breeded before, but, just not in a herd. I'd be glad to help." He bowed(Right?) down, to show respect. "Thank you. I will not let you down."
Wow, this is easier that excepted! he thought, lightly smiling.

(Sorry I haven't been on for awhile. Things were a little crazy here)

Mysti stifled a laugh as the tame stallion attempted a unusual bowing move. he had a lot to learn about living in the wild. She glanced at the new leader. Truth be told they all had a lot to learn herself included.

i nicker. "Now need for that now!" i laugh. i begin to walk with the heard. "So your new here?"

Sorry though i would speed past the breeding stuff....So two days later....

We had only stopped walking for a short time and that was to eat ans stuff. my leg hurt like hell but i kept the herd moving. there was not meadow up this way nothing but dry land. i had chosen the wrong way to go and now it had cost us. we had already lost two do to thirst, the rest hanging on by meer threads. the flies out here were bad. i spot my tow friends the second time we stop. i walk to them. "do you think we will make it?"

Mysti tossed her elegant head. "We must either make it or perish. The herd knows this. We know what must be done, press on until we find what we seek." She was terribly thirsty, but also grateful that her fathers, sire had been an Arabian who had escaped his farm. She held the hardiness of her forebearers. Still she was aware of the danger the herd had faced. The loss of the old mare Clover had saddened her. The old mare had told them many stories. She was one of the few to remember them. I suppose I shall have to be story teller from now on, she thought to herself. Should we make it through this itself will make quite a story. It is far from the first time a new stallion has made a mistake. She lifted her nose and sniffed the breeze hoping to scent water.

He was so tired and hungry and thirsty, but he kept going, not wanting to slow everyone down.
I wonder, are we almost there.... he looked up, but saw they where a long way off. He saw his leader and Mystiy talk to each other, but ignored them. "We must find water or some where to stay soon...." He said, lying down.

i think for a moment. "i just hope we make it to see the birth of our foals." i look to her. "You did breed did you not?" it was stupid yes but i was tired. dark clouds fill the night sky blocking out the moon. the first rain drop hits my nose.

Rivers: i walk through the dry plain, not planing on going anywhere. i had lost my herd to a pack of wild dogs the night before last and had gone off on my own. My foal kicks. it wanted to come into this world just not now. i sigh and keep walking. the rain had started to fall by this time. water dripped off my swollen belly, washing the sent of my last herd away. everyone i knew was in that heard, my father, my mom, my friend, and my mate. that was when i say them a herd right in front of me. i trot to them, my stomach swinging. "Hello!"
