((ok to the rest of you we are moving on!
@Zrika))

Rai's thoughts were suddenly diverted as he heard a sound a good distance behind him. But by the time he looked back the person from before was gone. He sighed and looked back around wondering what else was there. Maybe something was trying to corner him. He wasn't used to this, on his planet his kind were the top predators, but was something else trying to hunt him? Quickly he made a move forward through the nearby brush and trees, almost threateningly as if to scare off whatever it was, but suddenly he saw the creature before him. It seemed to have many eyes and more than one mouth. He had never seen anything like it. It was dragon-like in form but obviously it was something else entirely. He didn't know what to think or expect from it. Whether it was intelligent or totally driven by predatory instinct or some other factor. He stood there for a moment unsure how to address it, calling it 'boy' or something like a pet would surely get a bad reception if it was intelligent, if not he would just look foolish but since whoever was here before was gone it seemed the best idea anyways. "Um...hello?" His tail swished back and forth behind him curiously as he waited for whatever came next. His wings were still flat against his back and out of sight although a slight purple gleam could be seen as they reflected the light from the sunless sky.

((Eep, didn't expect to be talked to so soon. xD ))

Since she was more focused on the three animals before, Zenaku was completely taken aback by the seemingly sudden appearance and greeting of another being. Her other eyes opened, and moved about till they focused on the one before them. Zenaku tilted her head to the side, contemplating. This being reminded her of the elves in her land, in the sense of it being two-legged. No, not an it, Zenaku could easily tell that this being was male, especially by the tone of voice. However what confused her slightly was the fact that the being had a tail. She also took note of a slightly annoying purple gleam that seemed to be reflecting off of something the being had on their back. But decided to not investigate it, mostly because she had no interest in it.

Narrowing her eyes, she allowed her other mouth to open slightly before she decided to answer with both mouths speaking. "Greetings." Zenaku unfolded her wings, to make herself look a little bigger. But other than that, she did nothing to show that she was hostile. "If this one knows anything about this world.. Maybe I can get some answers.."

Rai seemed unsure of the being before him. The moment it spoke his eyes widened in surprise and he was tempted to take a step back, but he stood his ground. Doing otherwise would be embarrassing to his kind. If his father would have seen such an action Rai would surely have been beaten or badly scolded. Instead he decided to take a step forward a wave of braveness washing over him as he thought about the nature of his race. Maybe it was pride, or just foolishness but it didn't matter to him anymore. He glanced at it taking in account all of its features. At first it could definitely be unnerving but now Rai was just curious.
"Who are you and why are you here?" He didn't know why, but he knew this being was not responsible. It wasn't exactly that he didn't believe it was capable, but he could read it as if he was reading himself. It seemed just as confused as him even if it tried to hide it. He sighed for a moment and decided if he wanted an answer he might as well introduce himself.
"I am Ryoku Djuvai of the Deruvian clan..." he paused a moment before remembering he should maybe also mention his planet which was weird of him to think about since normally he never had to since everyone lived on the same planet. "...on the planet of Djuracai" Even though he doubted this creature knew of it.

((If I'm replying too fast or need to stop or slow down let me know. ^^; ))

Zenaku watched the being in front of her. Her second mouth grinned when she noticed the being's eyes widen. However, when the being took a step forward toward her, she narrowed her eyes further and brought her wings forward to cover her eyes that were not on her head. Even though at this point her instincts screamed for her to leap back and run. "I won't run. I know our kinds eyes might be sought out for.. But I won't run. Nor give them up without a fight." Zenaku's body tensed, preparing for an attack. But it never came. Instead the being asked her a question. Then after a sigh.. The being told her his name.

"Ryoku Djuvai..?" Zenaku lowered her wings and had them go to a resting position on her back. Her head tilted as she thought of the name. "..Just like the elves this Ryoku has a second name.. Father told me that these second names are what is called a 'last name'..I wonder why the need for these last names. Maybe to tell one's family from another?" Zenaku shook her head. "I'll perhaps ask later.. Anyway.." Zenaku blinked, the name of the planet Ryoku had said was not like her own nor was it of any planet she had known.. According to her father's list anyway.. "Another one to add to the list I suppose." Her tail swayed and with a bored yawn from her second mouth, she decided to introduce herself as well. " I am Zenaku, from the planet of Aznadus. As for why I am here... I have no idea why" She shrugged. "One minute I was at my planet. The next, here. Was it the same for you?" At this point, she figured that Ryoku was in the same crystal as her. But it didn't hurt to ask.

(Ok Desiree and Lotus feel free to interact with each other unless you all are busy as well. right now its just me and Zrika haha, or feel free to interact with us!
@Zrika - No worries, if we need to slow down i'll just slow my posts. For now we aren't advancing the plot since everyone is just meeting so it can go for as long as needed. )

Rai listened with full interest as she explained her circumstances. It seemed the same thing had happened to her. So it was not just him that had been taken here. "I am afraid so, I awoke not too far from here with quite a dreadful headache." he mumbled the last part with an annoyed tone before looking back to Zenaku. "I am still trying to figure out why we are here. I can't make any sense of it." He paused for a moment and glanced around as if something was there...like he sensed something but slowly he looked back. "I have this feeling we may not be the only ones here either." He wondered how they could have been taken here. He knew all the planets in their solar system, none of which contained life. That meant they had to at least be a whole solar system away. Who would have the power to teleport them all here from such a distance and why? If they could figure this out maybe they could get home.

((@Thoron- Okay.))

When Ryoku confirmed her question, Zenaku could only let out a small sigh, before perking her ears to listen to Ryoku further. Once he was finished speaking she shrugged and sat down. "Lets just hope we are not here as some sort of trophies for some weirdo with lots of power and apparently lots of space." Although what she said was unlikely. It was something her father had talked about doing himself. "The irony if what I say is true.." Zenaku pawed at her half mask, now wondering if it had broken... But that can be checked later. She decided to look around since Ryoku had done it earlier, but her eyes saw nothing. However, Ryoku did have a point. It did feel like there were others around, like those animals from before. "Hmm.. Perhaps if there is anyone else. They would know what is going on. Unless they are like us.."

Zenaku shook her head. This was a bothersome situation. Even worse, she was starting to feel hungry. Not the usual kind either. "I do wonder if there is anything to eat in this planet. It's.. Really empty."

Zhen

She'd only blinked, but by the time her eyes had opened, one of the two men was gone. Zhen quickly pressed herself against the trunk of the tree she'd sought refuge in as the male charged near by her. Had he sensed her? Or was it the other mind that was close by he'd felt?

Zhen had to admit, she was impressed if he'd been able to sense her. Rangers were taught from day one to blend in with their surroundings, observe it and leave as little mark as possible that you were even there. The humans of her world often treated Rangers, no matter the race, with a certain degree of fear out of superstition that they were really some sort of specter. Her fellow Rangers did little to dissuade that feeling. While Zhen enjoyed the company of other races, most Rangers were loners. Zhen had become one because it allowed her the freedom to traverse her world outside those of Elven lands. She could choose when or if she wanted to interact with others, rather than be stuck in a tower with the other mages like her Mother was.

The young elf stowed her bow behind her as she followed the dragonish male. She was curious about him. Did he know why they were there? Who was he? Where was he from? When she saw he'd meet up with another strange being. Zhen's curiosity was irreversibly piqued now. Zhen listened quietly until someone mentioned food; it had been a while since she'd eaten as well.

"If you're hungry, perhaps we can be of assistance," Zhen said as she stepped gracefully from behind the bushes she'd been watching from.

Gently she pulled back the hood of her cloak; revealing her features, and a still sleeping dragon,fully. "My name is Zhaerhophidaaelin Limaroa; I prefer Zhen, or Zhen Li if you desire to be more formal. My companion here is Koji, we are from Jaaegosa."

Zhen smiled softly when Koji yawned, and tried to bury his head in her long auburn hair. "It's okay little one; no need to be shy. I'll make some tea that will make you feel better. Now be polite and say hello."

Koji lifted his head, his bright black eyes focused on the strangers swiftly flitting from one to the other and back. Satisfied only when he thought they didn't consider him a snack; the young dragon gave them each a nod of greetings. Both strangers were dragonish; something that strangely comforted Koji. He had not had the chance to interact with many of his kind after his parents were killed. His travels with Zhen, though long and many, rarely crossed dragon lands; with good reason. Not all dragon kind was friendly, even towards one of their own.

"I can sense three other sentient minds; one is close by with some animal minds near it. The other two are still some distance away, yet I suspect they will be here soon as well. Shall I make some refreshments while we wait?" Zhen asked politely.

Rai was about to answer Zenaku when suddenly another form made an appearance. Out of instinct Rai immediately took on an offensive pose ready to attack what came forward. But once he got a good luck at the person in front of him he quickly repositioned himself to a more comfortable stance and sighed. If she had been any closer he may have lit her on fire on accident. Rai had to have been most disappointed that he hadn't sensed her there earlier. He knew 'someone' was nearby but if they were that close normally he would have pinpointed their location much quicker. He pushed that thought aside as she began to speak. Rhai was about to re-introduce himself when he realized she had probably been listening in anyways. So she had nicknames as well. In his world a nickname was not only short for your birth name, but it was also a symbol of your connection with the gods. Ryoku being a blacksmith and a manipulator of fire took on the nickname 'Rai' which was the god of fire and brimstone. He wasn't going to tell them of this yet though, such names were sacred and he wasn't yet ready to trust them with information that was sacred to his people. For now he preferred if they called him Ryoku.
Rai seemed once again pulled from his thoughts as she continued to speak and the miniature dragon was introduced. Once again the disappointing thought of not sensing them popped into his head as he now realized there were two of them that he hadn't sensed, but he quickly pushed it to the back of his mind again as he began to examine the small dragon. He had never seen anything like it. There were few in his world that had the ability to transform themselves into beings of similar structure, but much much larger in comparison. Those who were, were the top warriors and religious leaders, believed to be closest to the gods since they could take on their form ((which Ryoku is still unaware that he can do)). He was curious of the dragon being and returned its greeting with a nod. But soon his attention was once again taken away as the woman with the pointed ears began speaking again.
Three others? So there are more. How was I not able to sense them as well He guessed that either this planet was messing with his senses or this person's were much stronger than his. He didn't like either idea.
He gave her a quizzical glance as she mentioned a beverage. He didn't know if this could be some sort of trap, if she was joking, or if she was actually serious. He couldn't find any tone that said otherwise so he had to guess that somewhere she actually had beverages to offer, but he wondered if they would be to their liking since they were all from different worlds. It could be poisonous to them as well. Rai had to admit he was thirsty, although not out loud of course.
"And what type of beverage would that be?" he said finally speaking for the first time to the new arrival.

Gahnos

Gahnos trotted briskly across the open glen, wings folded tightly against his body, light somehow glistened across his scales his mane and tail flowed freely behind him. This place was so strangely peaceful it set Gahnos on edge. He wanted to figure out what was going on quickly, and get back to his herd as quickly as possible. He knew there where others here, yet the feeling of aloneness was so alien to Gahnos it threatened to overwhelm him.

Oh get over it, idiot. All I have to do is find out what's going on and how to get home. No big deal, he thought to himself.

Yet he was so preoccupied by his own thoughts, Gahnos hadn't realized he'd somehow wandered rather noisily into the forest. He heard a voice nearby, female from the tone, and walked towards it.

"Fear not, young Miss. My name is Gahnos of Skyclan, Knight of the Longma dragons of Awstinda," his rich voice soothed as he bowed deeply to the curious looking figure in the sky.

Gahnos had never seen one such as she. He had seen Elves, Angels and other members of Fae races, but never one with wings for arms like this young lady possessed. "You don't happen to know where we are do you? I was with my herd one moment, then suddenly I woke here with a nasty headache."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zhen
"Jasmine tea sounds rather pleasant right now. Or, if you prefer, water," Zhen replied, not phased by Ryoku's suspicions in the least. She reached in her pack for one of her extra canteens full of water; to prove it was safe to drink, she took a swig from it herself before she set it down towards Ryoku and Zenaku.
Not waiting to see if either took it, Zhen took a nearby rock with a relatively sharp, flat end and carefully dug a small pit for a fire. She made sure to set the grassy clumps down carefully so they could be replaced after they put the fire out.
It was at this time, the two foot long, serpentine dragon climbed down from his perch on Zhen's head to bring her some rocks to place around the fire pit and what kindling he could. Koji was small now, but that didn't mean he didn't want to help out where he could.
In an attempt to remove some of the tension, Zhen met the gazes of the other two. Sincerity clear in her voice and expression she explained, "I feel I should apologize for listening in on you earlier. I do not mean to arouse suspicions; however, I take great care when I can for Koji's protection. I made an oath to his Mother to keep him from harm until he is old enough to be on his own. This is not always possible for us; as a Ranger we are constantly on the move through dangerous lands. Yet I always take what care I can for him when possible..." Quickly changing the subject when Koji reappeared, Zhen added with a smile, "I have fish, venison, bread, cheeses, some vegetables and some fruit if there is something either of you are partial to. I'm sure you both have questions, I will answer to the best of my ability."
Zhen hoped they would pick up on her hint, and steer clear of asking about Koji's parents. His species, and the knowledge Zhen holds about them would be acceptable for them to answer. She and Koji did not often talk about the death of his parents with each other, and never with strangers, it was a painfully bittersweet subject for both of them. Yet it was also that moment which bound the two of them so closely. Zhen smiled lovingly to her young charge, her fingers softly scratched under his chin as one might do to a cat. In return, Koji's eyes closed with pleasure, the full length of him arched into her hand.
