Kara: The other woman and I looked into each other's eyes in disbelief. "Duh. we can drive!" I yeah at the two. "But I don't know how well that would work for us. I had some crash a party and as I shoot some the other's charged me.... I think....." I said trailing off a little. "I think they can't see very well so they rely on hearing. Like bats."

Russ: "Wait a minute." I said to all of them. "First off, you're all assuming that those things haven't over run the station. Second, if those things are really attracted to noise then guns are useless. And lastly, you're assuming I'm on your team or whatever you guys wanna call this."

Kara: I was about to agree with her but I heard something and turned around just in time to put my are up to protect my face from being bit. The thing tried to bite through my duct tape armor. I pulled my large knife and stabbed it in the head. "And that's why I took all the duct tape." I said after double checking to see if it was dead. "Well if we are going to try a team thing we'd better do it soon I don't like how this is going..."

Rick: "they can see, and they can smell as well. they go for blood, for flesh. Look the station is our best hope for now. as for the group it is best if we all stay together." i roll my shoulders, the bandage straping my wound.

Daryl: "he is right, we may even find some other people in there." i was not much of a leader, but this man seemed to be. "we should let him guide us. this is his town after all."

( Redue! this is not in Atlanta yet... they are in a small town.)

Rick: "once we get weapons and all of that then we should head for Atlanta, the jail there is much more secure then the one here, and should have every thing we will need to get through these hard times." and that was also where my family was. Carl and my wife would have went that way at the first sign of danger.

Kara: "Yeah his town. I live here too, stupid, and I know most of town!" I mumbled a few words about his IQ to myself.

Russ: "Well if we were going to go we should have earlier. There's about 200 of those things out there in our way." I said after looking around the corner.

Kara: I needed to deflate some of my stress. "Well it's not going to be for long." I pull my AK-47 from my back harness. "I'll met you at the station if I'm not back in an hour. Leave." I run out there firing my gun at their heads and run around the corner away from the police station. Most of them followed me.

Daryl: "lets hurry she may need our help." i pull out my knife and stab one of the things in the head.

Rick: "then we can get the police cars and pick her up as we drive off."

Daryl: "seeing she was not bit."

Rick: "Can you cover us?" i ask the girl

Kara: I was running and shooting wildly at the things watching to make sure none were ahead of me.

Russ: I bark a laugh. "Cover you? What do you call jumping from a fire escape to stab something from behind you?" I thought about what they were saying. "No I don't think she'll need our help. We should just do what she said to." I said looking at the trail of things still chasing her. "But that doesn't mean we can't kill a lot on the way." I added throwing a knife at the furthest one I could.

Rick: "i will go in and grad the guns, if you two will cover me. Daryl cover me once we are ijn Russ cover the outside. Got it?" i put a hand on the door knob.

Daryl: "loud and clear."

Russ: I sighed. "Fine, but if I hear anything I'm coming in." I said hating being left out here.

Kara: I got far enough a head from them. I smiled to myself. I was saving this for something special and now would be a good time to use it. I jump up on a fire escape and throw a grenade at the poor suckers and jumped down running away from the blast. I found a small stone wall and jumped over to shield myself. I hear a whimper after the blast and look around. There was a little girl and a German Shepherd sitting next to me. Damn! I look them both over for bites but don't see any. "Hi I'm Kara. And I'm one of the good guys, I'm going to take you someplace safe okay?" I reach for the little girl and she jumps into my arms. "Close your eyes and don't open them until I say so." I whisper into her hair and feel her nod. I whistle for the dog and we start walking toward the police station. Most of the things that were caught in the explosion got their heads blown off. A couple of them got up but I quickly dispatched them without too much of a noise to keep from scaring the girl.

Daryl: " 'bout time! Who's that?"

Rick: I turn to see Kara and a girl in her arms. " we are going to need supplies at the rate we are finding people."

Kara: I felt the girl jump. "You can open your eyes now." I whispered to her. She looked around at the others and shrunk back from the guys. "Gee. You guys scared her." I said to them trying to keep clam so that the girl would warm up to them. "What's your name, Sweetie?"

I looked around after Kara said I could open my eyes. There were three new faces but the two men's roughness scared me and I tightened my grip on Kara. "I'm Opal. And that's Sammy." I point to my dog. The other woman got closer to me and genitally asked me. "How old are you, Opal?" I held up my fingers like my mommy taught me to "I'm this many old. And I'll be this many in a few months."

Russ: I watched as the little girl held up four fingers then five. I smiled at her. Then Kara looked at Rick obviously annoyed.

Kara: I was a little annoyed that Rick acted like Opal would be trouble. "Yeah and if you've got a problem with her. I'm going to leave and take her with me. OR and I'm gonna bring Sammy too!"

Rick: "hey it ain't nothing to yell over. I was just stating that we are going to need to pack so that we will make it to Atlanta. She can come too." I turn to they. "Look I am just worried. My family is out there!"

Daryl; "and you think ours is not!" I yell
