Yes, all of them are amazing! Though it's a little harder than I thought, gathering all those pet dyes. It's exhausting. (da heck? how could that be tiring?) I've only reached 1067 scales today. -_- Still need to keep on working if I want those designs on my qitaris!
I know, most of the earlier entries stuck to me and couldn't go. Once more people entered, I didn't know if I could pick a winner.

I think part of it is that the prizes don't really apply to members who don't breed qitari, luffox, or vulnyx. A lot of people breed aeris, but people aren't allowed to choose that. And as far as I know, while qitari is a decent breed, it's not a lot of people's FAVORITE breed. Honestly, I don't collect qitari, or luffox, and only high-vis vulnyx/ extraordinary vulnyx.

That's the main thing *shrugs*

Also... holding it open for more than a week benefits too. I didn't notice this thread until just now. You aren't bumping the thread. There's a post gap from the 3rd to the 6th - three days is quite sometime to bump this page several pages back. Then there's another gap from the 6th to the 9th. For a thread like this to be successful, you need to bump it regularly. The moment it reaches the second page, bump. And keep doing that.

I see. Oh goodness, I didn't mean to sound like breedings with my Aeri were off the table! I only meant that to be applied to the selling part. I didn't want themed or Aeri to be given away in this contest. I would be absolutely fine with putting anything that I didn't list under the first [*] up for a free or discounted breeding. I see how that could be misunderstood, though.
And I didn't realize that these would need more than a week.... -chalking that up to first-time contest holder-
As for bumping, I tried to wait for it to fall off of the first page before I bumped. I guess that it just took that long for that to happen. -shrug-

Thank you very much for this information. I tried to be as descriptive with the guidelines as I could, I even looked back at similar threads to see how they set things up. I'm just not all that familiar with hosting contests. So, with this information in mind, would I be allowed to reuse this thread, changing a few things of course, in the future? I would take down the pets that I've decided on designs for and give it a longer running time, of course. I know that other users do this with auction threads and such, but I don't want to make anyone mad because of how unfamiliar I am at this kind of thing.

And ahh. I assumed that it fell off the page and you forgot to bump it. But yeah. Most people give a couple weeks, although if the prize is wheel offspring or something a week is more than enough xD
