As I said, I'm just cleaning out a closet, I've got plenty of time, I'm not in a rush and I can wait. Yeah, it's fine. I have other sites to check, anyway.

Wajas, Flight Rising, Neopets, Gaia, FFN, Whofic....the list is long. That's why my sell threads are always bookmarked to my browser. One of my stories might have updated and if that happens it could be a while before I log back in.

Oh, yeah, should mention, gold and possibly other items should be included. I won't insist on diamonds. Those I can get myself...like I said...I do have credit cards.

Oh! Well if you're not just looking for diamonds, I have a list of items here: http://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=13120

If you'd like to look through it and see if there's anything you like and would be interested in trading for the staff.

Have you heard of the nature-nurture debate? The differences in our psychologies may be in our upbringings. You did not have all of this technology growing up. I did. Instant gratification is not as important to you, because you did not often have it growing up. However, I did. Because of that, I can be much more impatient than you....especially on the internet.

Also, humans as a species enjoy the hunt. We don't have to hunt for food anymore, so we hunt other things, like bargains, or in this case, avatar items.

So, in fact, the reason I sound pushy to you and Aaron is simply upbringing, or the fact that this is text, and you have no other social cues. Also, I'm very slow socially. If you would please let me tell you why in pm, that would be much appreciated :)

I apologize for being rude. I honestly did not realize what I did to be rude until Aaron pointed out what it was specifically. I have a difficult time with social stuff, and sometimes I just need detail.

Please forgive me?

First...my children were raised in the 'I want it NOW' generation. They did learn that 'wanting isn't getting'. They also learned that mama has control...I'd not bother pulling the plug or removing the power cables, I'd just put a childlock password on their favorite sites for a month and made sure their friends were told. Peer pressure did the rest.

They didn't get a smart phone until they were 18 and bought one themselves...and the minutes as well. The first time they ran through their minutes in the first week was also the last time that happened. It's different when you have to pay for them yourself.

I do not believe in spoiling children. Trust me, they learned to work for what they wanted, save their money and then, when they could pay in cash and in full, they bought what they'd worked so hard for. This has the added benefit of teaching them to value what they have because they understand how hard it is to afford.

Our family does indeed hunt, though only with bows. Bow hunting by definition teaches patience. Impatient bow hunters go hungry. We also fish for the table and the freezer, like hunting, it's cheaper than the store and teaches patience.

I will forgive you. Just keep in mind that there are certain behaviors that are unacceptable. Do yourself a favor...buy a rod, tackle, a fishing license and leave your phone home. Learn patience.

Sadly, I am physically incapable of putting bait on or bow hunting. I'd love to do archery, but without the use of both hands, it's near impossible. Otherwise, I probably would do those things.

This is what I was talking about, by taking offers from various people, I get a good notion of an item's Going Rate. Between you and the young man, I have that now.

Okay, that said...gold, essences and mutators. I'm primarily a breeder though obviously I do buy some items. Once I settled on a signature 'look' the rest are surplus and just take up space.

Now, keep in mind, I have sold diamonds for gold...actually, I bought the diamonds just to sell them for gold, so I do know the going/exchange rate. Doesn't mean that you can't haggle, feel free...does mean that even though I'm still learning the item economy, the first thing I made sure to find out was the gold to diamond ratio.

I'd prefer mostly enhancements for the pets I already have, including gene and mutation additives...I've got four Gen 1 Vulnyx and two Gen 1 Zolnixi that need some work, so mostly I think I'm going to be interested in that. Need to work on the female Zolnixi more than the male, at the moment. The Jeweled winged Vulnyx pair need a pair of identical marks since they've only got one Gene each for color. And the other pair could do with a pair of the same mutations.

I can grab a mutator or dye, and give you a gender swap.
